American Express sells giftcards that are next to impossible to use. To activate is difficult at best and there is almost no way to use the entire amount. Why? Sales associates and even managers can barely get around the difficulties set up by American Express. The more difficult the more likely the consumer is to give up, and every dollar not used American Express gets to keep.

To require companies making over $10million a year to put 10% back to the hourly workforce in the form of a profit sharing bonus based on hours worked. This bonus is calculated BEFORE any exectutive bonuses are calculated and deducted from the profit.

This petition is to make people know how our courts have been and continue to be bought and sold by the wealthy when our judges and shady court practices side immediately with who has the most money without even doing background checks on them. I and many parents like me have been called a "flight risk" because I evacuated from Hurricane Katrina, a dangerous Category 5 hurricane. We had our children immediately stripped from us and given to the other parent who did NOT have even primary custody of the child(ren). These court cases were rushed through during times when the city was not fully up running and there was still martial law and price-gouging on rentals so people could not afford to come back and live. These victimized parents have ZERO rights to the children they once raised and cared for lovingly everyday. I want to push these crooks to overturn all these oportunistic judgements and let children be with their parents. New Orleans courts need to be investigated and held accountable for their actions regarding the evacuation loophole. Many children were taken away to live in other states by their parent who abused this system but evacuation is a "flight risk"? I think not.

To get Americans working again there has to be a level playing field for _all_ companies Big or Small. Outsourcing has to be addressed as-one-thing for all players. There has to be a FEDERAL mandate. The President can set it if it's a National Security Issue without going through Congress.

People with poor credit are not all irresponsible people, but are people who for whatever reason are having a difficult time making ends meet. Insurance companies should not be able to make life more difficult for this segment of the population by charging higher rates for insurance coverage on homes and cars.

On February 27, 1982, a young Atlanta man with no prior criminal record was convicted of murdering two men. Shortly thereafter, the Atlanta Police Department closed 23 homicides and attributed them to Wayne B. Williams, calling him the "Atlanta Child Murderer." 2,969 Palestinian civilians were killed by the Israeli military between 2000-2009, many with weapons paid for by American taxpayers. Israel continues to misuse U.S. supplied weapons like white phosphorous and high velocity tear gas canisters against Palestinian civilians in violation of U.S. laws. Ask Members of Congress and President Obama to ensure that laws like the Arms Export Control Act and Foreign Assistance Act are enforced, and work to uphold the human rights of both Palestinians and Israelis.

Ask the Supreme Court to reverse it's Citizens United decision. It was erroreous to grant human rights to a paper entity----a corporation.
