In 2007 North Carolina legislators passed Senate Bill 3 (session law 2007-397). It was hoped to be a vehicle to improve the environment and economically benefit the state. SB-3 has no provable environmental benefits, and will guarantee higher costs to NC citizens and businesses. The latter will result in a net job loss to North Carolina.

Rush Limbaugh is a toxic voice on the public airwaves. He broadcasts with our permission. He must be removed because he has poisoned the airwaves with vicious lies and defames innocent people on a daily basis.

Underwater homes were caused by the bubble that the banks created. People are stuck with homes that they cannot sell for what they owe. They can't move for a better job, they can't downsize to meet the current economy. Our government is now allowing for and reimbursing banks for writing down mortgages, all except those backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. People who have jumbo loans on second homes can get their mortgage written down to the current value (conditions apply), so the government is bailing out those homeowners and their banks (again), but middle class citizens who have their primary homes underwritten by Fannie or Freddie are out of luck. This is SO wrong. No help for the middle class repeated.

Hemp is a plant native to America. Let us give this commodity its rightful place in the wealth development of our nation. Allow farmers to plant hemp for industrial purposes. Create tax incentives for manufacturers that develop efficient and effective ways to use the crop to create American jobs and for national energy self-sufficiency.

President Obama's push to hold down interest rates on federal student loans has rapidly turned into an election-year standoff

We've all seen it everywhere the news, media, and the Internet. It is the systematic attack by Congress on our rights as citizens, as workers, and as humans. I believe it is time to call for a vote of no confidence in Congress. These people have betrayed their oaths of office and it is time to remove them and prune the rot of our government.

We have to get the money out of the election process. Therefore, the US taxpayer should and can make that happen by giving each candidate a certain amount of money and free air time, the airways are ours. Each would be able to present their ideas on the air and the whole process would last only three months instead of two years.

Student Loans are destroying this country.

It is proposed herewith that each Bill or Law be presented independent of another to ensure the People's Constitutional Right to vote. This eliminates "riders" that get voted in with an issue or prevent a desired issue from being voted in when riders are strong deterrents, thus interfering with the People's Constitutional Right to vote on every issue independently. This will ensure that each issue gets attention and appropriate response. It is also proposed herewith that each Bill or Law be written in terms most Americans can comprehend (8th grade level comprehension).

Since the deregulation, airlines have gotten away with charging customers random and inordinate change fees on existing tickets and imposing rules on the changes that leave most customers no choice but to either take a huge loss on a full fare economy ticket and/or rebook the ticket altogether.

Our airwaves are Public and we lease them to media companies,Radio and Television.We are daily bombarded by misinformation, lies and unreported information. Marshall McCluhan the Communications expert of the 60 's stated " The Media Is The Message",which translates as whoever controls the Media ,controls the information. Correct information is vital for a democracy. To protect our Democracy public airways should be protected from Lies, Misinformation and failure to report vital information on issues that would better inform the public.
