This petition is to force lawmakers to rescind any legislation created by the anti Democracy group ALEC. Lawmakers across the country have been passing these laws that are meant to take away rights of the common citizen in favor of large businesses.

When politicians will progress from immature, infantile street-dog behavior of to day? To mature mentality of reaching to the next stage of sportive, sincere, disciplined, dedicated and decent member of the grown up age? We the ordinary citizens have to take this burning problem in our solid hands, by refusing to listen, read and support from such candidates? But how? We need to repeal the Issa legislation that puts an undo and unnecessary burden on the Postal Service to fund their pension and medical obligation in 7 years. The last thing we want to do is put the postal service in bankruptcy and privatize our postal service.

The United States constitution hasn't been changed since the 27th amendment passed in the 1980's. This petition is calling for a Consitutional Convention to take place ASAP at a date and location to be determined later. This convention should be used to update the constitution's amendments to conform with our modern values and encode certain protections already written into law and legal opinion (such as the right to privacy) but not into the constitution itself.

Lets pick a date to boycott walmart for being the number one seller of guns and ammo in the US. They are the sponors of ALEC which wrote the legislation for the stand your ground rule in Florida which led to the Trayvon Martin death. This will show corporate America that the people are feed up with corporate greed which in this case was trying to sell more guns.

Granting felony's the right to work and apply for housing in America without their background causing them not to. People make mistakes and people also change, lets give them that chance to do so.
