Term LimitsA nationwide petition to amend the constitution that all members of congress both the senate and congress can not serve more than two consecutive terms, just like the president. That will go a long way to stopping the influence of big corporations from owning our government. Then our representatives will spend time doing their job instesd of constantly raising money.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jean Sylvia

Fix Social Security with CBO option 2 or 3"Fixing" Social Security. This would fix Social Security essentially forever. It would cost the worker an extra forty cents per week each year. But avoid benefit cuts, increases in retirement age, turning SS into welfare by "taxing the rich." And shut up the Liars about Social Security creating "huge deficits." Eliminate the banks from Student Loans SystemThe government loans low interest rate money to the banks and asks them to loan it to students. The money comes with a guarantee that if the student defaults the government will repay the banks in full. Even though there is no risk to the banks from this transaction, they profit by charging students high interest rates (up to 8%). Canada, by comparison, loans the money directly to students and offers an interest rate of approximately 1%. The Canadian system benefits the students and the taxpayers. The US system benefits the banks at the expense of the student and the taxpayers. The US system is unfair to both students and taxpayers. We urge you to pass legislation to eliminate the banks from the student loan system.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dimitria Gatzia

Hey, Congress: It's Time We Revamped the Supreme Court! The Supreme Court is supposed to be a non-biased, bi-partisan judiciary capable of dealing with the most critical issues facing Americans today. This court, possibly more than any other in history, has shown they are nothing more than an embarrassingly biased group of political infants. This is simply unacceptable.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by david fagin

Terminate the OHV Division of CA State ParksThe OHV Division of CA State Parks promotes driving vehicles on Oceano Beach as a type of so called "recreation". State Park Rangers should be leading nature walks on Oceano Beach rather than directing traffic. We need to listen to waves NOT engines for our own sanity.57 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bill Denneen
