The Solar renewable Energy market has been severely hurt by over-production of Solar Electricity in NJ. NJ residents that invested in NJ's future are being hurt and workers who are employed in the solar industry are being laid off due to the lack of response from the NJ Legislature. They need to take action quickly to protect residents investment and workers jobs in the solar industry.

The government pays out billions of dollars in social security and medicare benefits for retired millionaires. Millionaires do not need these benefits. Further, unlike many other issues where people are seriously divided, there are many Congressman and Senators on both sides of the aisle who agree on this point. Call or email your congressman today and let them know to stop paying the millionaires.

We currently have 35 states that have ratified the Equal Rights Amendment and all we need to make the E.R.A. the 28th amendment to the U.S. Constitution is 38. The 15 states that have not ratified the Equal Rights Amendment are:Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah and Virginia. It's time.

As a patient of a rare genetic cancer disease I am completely fed up with the system for people who need medicine. I can not get any controlled substances for pain since my surgeon was in one state (only 2 people in the US do the type of surgery I had for colon removal/cancer). I had severe problems where the dose of pain meds I was sent home were not enough. My local doctor could not or would not give me a prescribed for a new pain med and not one pain management center would help me. This needs to stop. If a patient has surgery in a state and needs medicine this should NOT be an issue. Plenty of us suffer due to someone else breaking the system. America needs to take better care of it's citizens. The law that went into place to prevent meds being prescribed over the state line needs to be removed immediately. Even when traveling if you lose a prescription you can't have access to it at the local pharmacy, you are flat out declined. For example, my mother came to visit me and on the trip over her meds were damaged, she went to Walgreens to try to fill it again and they said she had to go back to Florida. This is a drug she used daily, totally uncalled for. This country is going back in time, not progressing at all. Things must change and this is my start!

The most entitled of all Americans are the politicians from the Federal level, on down to lowest city official. I petittion that their salaries be cut by 5% across the board, all raises in salary & expenses awarded during our wwars in Iraq & Afghanistan be rolled back. All pensions should be eliminated & replaced by 403b or IRA type accounts, with no match until the deficits are gone. Their healthcare should be eliminated and replaced with the same healthcare that the rest of Nation uses.

The Sheriff's Department of most counties is lead by an elected official. This is meant to be the office of a man or woman charged with protecting the public and serving them with respect to their personal liberties. However, it is often used as a weapon to curtail adult media and minority cultures that do not agree with the individual in charge. Just take the Sheriff of Polk County, FL, for example. Sheriff Grady Judd, has used his authority to prohibit the production and purchase of adult media and stifle the efforts of those that wish to organize peacefully. He is also responsible for forwarding department funds to churches and create policies that serve religious institutions best. This includes but is not limited to the arrest of Philip R. Greaves II, a man from Colorado. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated, and term limits are a solution.

Licensed Day Care owners should be forced to make a call to the caregiver of a child within an hour of the no show. A law. On a cell phone or other device so the call can be tracked by time. Eliminate the grief and devastation of the parent who forget the child was in the back seat.

Small children should not be hungery just because their parents can not provide enough food for them.

Animal abuse is a major global issue–over 300 animals are being abused daily.

I've put this idea forward before, but here it is again: Legalize drugs, but only those grown, processed and distributed within our own borders. A domestic-only policy would cut off violent foreign drug lords, and bankrupt terrorists who finance their crimes with drug peddling. It would allow our law enforcement criminal justice systems to concentrate on real crimes, and would subject drugs to regulation and taxation. It would also create thousands upon thousands of jobs.

Major Cellphone companies are making historic profits and continue to charge families more for data than individuals. Why do families pay $100/mo. for 1.5 Gigabytes of data when an individual can buy 3 GB of data for $30? (based on AT&T plans comparing 5 phones on family plan at 300 MB each vs individual with 3 GB plan.)

Republican legislatures and governors across the country are following the lead of Wisconsin's Republican Governor Walker to weaken equal pay for equal work requirements for women. Fifty years of progress for women in the workplace are now in danger of reversal.
