Fracking is a dangerous way to extract gas and oil from the ground because most sites end up polluting our natural drinking water supply. Even if one site, and there are too many already, poisoned a water supply, it should not be considered as a way to continue to extract natural gas from the ground. And, there are many sites that have already polluted....just because the Oil and Gas Companies are paying people off so they can't speak out doesn't mean we should consider this process.

If someone has paid there debt to society at some point there background can not keep them from landing a quality job. this is a form of discrimination and it must end

ABA therapy is the only proven treatment for children on the autism spectrum. With early and intensive therapy, many children are drastically changed to lead a happier and more independent life. Sadly, insurance companies are finding loop holes and ways to not pay for this much needed therapy. We are calling for our political leaders to protect these children.

On January 21, 2010, with its ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, the Supreme Court ruled that corporations are persons, entitled by the U.S. Constitution to buy elections and run our government. Human beings are people; corporations are legal fictions. We, the Citizens of Idaho, reject the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United, and ask our Congressional Representatives to amend our Constitution to: ~ Firmly establish that money is not speech, and that human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights. ~ Guarantee the right to vote and to participate, and to have our vote and participation count. The Supreme Court is misguided in principle, and wrong on the law. In a democracy, the people rule. We ask our Idaho Congressional Representatives to support a constitutional amendment that reverses the damage of the Citizen United Supreme Court case.

Well if people care about the rainforest and oxygen then they should sign this petition. Want to know why? Trees produce oxygen and if anyone want oxygen then they should make sure that the rainforest trees are not cut down. Pluse the rainforest trees are homes to many animals such as,toucans,lizards,monkeys,and all other sorts of animals. The intent of LD 145 is to prevent mortgage companies from foreclosing on properties they may not own. It was passed with bipartisan support in both the Maine House and Senate. It then went to the Governor, who chose to veto it. We are asking the Legislature to stand up for the People of Maine, and to override the Governor's veto of this bill.
