• It's time to go: All-In to End homelessness
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, the first major federal law to address homelessness in the United States. But, with more than 3.5 million Americans still homeless each year, we need to finish what we started. Now is the time to take your stand and make a commitment – its time to go All-In to End Homelessness.

  • Taxes for the 1% who are not paying anything
This effects all of us, especially the poor and people on Social Security.. The 1% pays maybe 10 cents on every dollar and the rest of us are paying the 99% of all the rest of the bill. It does not matter if you are Democrat or Republican aren't you tired of being taxed so much, I know I am. Also the tax system needs repairing maybe if everyone will get involved we can make it work.

  • Cheating our State workers out of there promised retirement!
This is a petition to stop Jindal from trying to change there retirement benefits . This plan is no different then the President of the United States wanting to raise the taxes on only the rich. They are both picking on a group who's numbers can't add up to enough to have an effect on there political party's . In a response to me from Jindal he stated that a hike in State taxes is not an option. So what does he want to do , nothing more then tax his State workers . I ask every one how would you like it if your company deceided to just take a certain amount out of you pay . Please back our State workers

  • Stop Barstool Blackout from encouraging rape
Barstool Blackout is an organizer for parties geared towards college students that blatantly makes jokes about the degradation and rape of women. The founder of the Barstool Blackout website http://www.barstoolu.com/ says it is all in good satirical "fun." Send him the message that it is unacceptable to encourage rape.

  • Support Protecting Arizona Civil Servants
It's about the spoils system which allows the party in majority to hire & fire employees "at will". The Civil Service keeps professional state, county & city workers with rights that allow acceptable procedures for hiring & firing of employees. Chaos in the government starts with elimination of logical & professional rules by management & employee associations. When the newly elected politicians can hire their family & friends, & fire the professional workers can you imagine the corruption and waste that would ensue. The Civil Service laws were made to protect the public and the State.

  • Stop Strip-Searches
The Supreme Court today ruled that strip-searches are legal in all cases, even for the most minor of arrests. Since the Supreme Court can no longer be counted on to protect our civil rights, guaranteed in the Fourth Amendment, let's work on the state level. This case originated in New Jersey. Six states already ban such searches. Flood Governor Christie's office and the offices of your state senators and representatives and DEMAND that they pass laws outlawing strip-searches in New Jersey unless police have reasonable ground for believing an arrested person is hiding contraband or dangerous materials
