There IS no problem with voter fraud. Recent Voter ID laws were passed with the sole purpose of preventing minorites, senior citizens and college students from voting. These groups historically vote for Democratic candidates. People who support Voter ID laws are Republican.

For too long we in America have been living under a Government that is run by government of the people by the lobbyists for the rich and powerful corporations. Too many of our Senate and House of Representatives are owned and controlled by Corporations and their big money. When our US Supreme Court announced that Corporations are people, that was a strong indication that the Corporations and their big money also owned and controlled too many of our Supreme Court Justices. The only way to cleanse our political system from the currently ongoing enormous corrupting influence is to get money out of politics. We need to free ourselves of Crony Capitalism whereby a rich and powerful few are running our government and reinstate Democratic Capitalism; that is, TRUE free market capitalism which is absolutely compatible with a true democracy. TRUE free market capitalism includes corporations and investors that assume all risks and are solely responsible for all losses as well as enjoying all profits after applicable taxes. Then once again we will have government of the people by the people and for the people. Supreme Court Justice Scalia proclaimed "money is speech" therefore this amendment to the Constitution is necessary because of its Freedom of Speech provision.

Rush Limbaugh was slandering a young woman who was speking up regarding taking birth control pills for women. He called her slanderous names and much more. Many advertisers have pulled their spot from his radio show. Many raido stations he is on have canceled him. We are asking KXLE to do the same.

On Dec.31st 2011 Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act into law. Clauses 1021 and 1022 of that bill legalize the indefinite imprisonment of any American citizen by the MILITARY without charges, evidence, trial or legal representation - all of which violates the 1st, 5th and 6th amendments to the constitution - on the accusation, not proof, that the person has committed a "belligerent act" or "substantially supported" a force hostile to the US. These terms have no legal meaning and can be used to justify the arrest and imprisonment of any person for anything. All but 10 senators voted "yea" while the House was split. Some members of Congress are moving to reverse the damage with the Due Process Guarantee Act, a bill that would restore the rights of Habeas corpus, trial by jury and legal counsel guaranteed in the Bill of Rights to all American citizens and legal residents. The bill is stuck in committee in both Houses and as of this writing does not have enough votes to pass. 17 year old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed while walking home from a convenience store on the evening of February 26th. The shooter, George Zimmerman, was the neighborhood watch captain. Zimmerman, a 200 pound 28 year old with a history of violence, claimed self defense although Trayvon Martin, with no criminal history, had nothing more than candy and an iced tea in his hands. George Zimmerman remains free.

This petition is to end the misuse of credit reports as barriers to getting people back to work. You may recall 60% of employers are now using credit reports in hiring even though there is no evidence that they predict the quality of an employee and hundreds of thousands of Coloradans have had their credit impacted, due to no fault of their own, by the recent recession. Furthermore, there are major errors in the credit reports of over 20 million Americans. It's time to remove this unnecessary barrier to getting people back to work. The bill passed the Colorado Senate on a vote of 20 - 15 but the bill faces significant challenges in the House. It is scheduled for hearing in the Colorado House Monday March 19, 2012 at 1:30 PM.
