Rush Limbaugh verbally attacked Georgetown University student Sandra Fluke multiple times because she spoke to Congress about women's reproductive rights. Along with calling her a slut, a prostitute, and asking her to make a sex video, Limbaugh made insulting and unwarranted remarks about her personal life, later admitting in a statement that his remarks were an expression of his contempt for anyone who would discuss reproductive rights at a Congressional level. Let's convince KTMS 990 to kick him off the air in Santa Barbara!

Governor Bentley and the Alabama State Legislature are gambling with the future of Alabama’s school children. We need to send a loud and clear message that tells them to leave the Education Trust Fund alone.

By allowing tax breaks for corporations, the Arizona state legislature continues to attack Voter ID, cuts to public schools and health care. Governor Brewer has had numerous opportunities to reverse these compelling attacks. As a constituent I am asking you to stand for not only the working poor, but also the middle class and stop this decimation. As a party, Republicans have lost touch with their constituents. One could say that the party has become a danger to their citizens, given the recent bills they have supported (i.e., bills in Georgia forcing women to carry their pregnancies to full term, even if it's at risk to their health). Additionally, as a party, Republicans have forgotten that they answer to their constituents, not the 1% or businesses or corporations.

When the State of Hawaii accepted the medical use of Cannabis in 2000 by creating Hawaii's Medical Marijuana Program, it did so because of the fact that States have the right to decide the medical use of controlled substances. However, nothing has been done since that time to correct the resulting discrepancy between state and federal law regarding this substance. It is up to the Governor of Hawaii, who has legal standing in this matter, to obligate the Attorney General of the United States to recognize Hawaii's right to decide the medical use of controlled substances, and thereby remove Cannabis from Schedule I.

Rush Limbaugh should not be able to hide behind the word "entertainment." There is nothing enjoyable about the hatred this man spews. It is self-serving, i.e. his bank account and his ego, but it does not serve people of good conscience, people of kindness, integrity, compassion, no matter what one's political views.
