This is a direct attack on women. I respect my wife and all women who have made contributions to our country and for him to disrespect a woman in this manner is not excusable.

Rush Limbaugh's verbal assault on Georgetown University student Sandra Fluke, calling her a "slut" and a "prostitute," was intended to do one thing: intimidate women who would dare to speak out for their reproductive freedom. HE HAS ATTACKED WOMEN WITH A VERBAL ASSAULT. Just because someone takes birth control doesn't mean she has multiple partners, a "slut" or "prostitute". This is called responsible!! As a woman living in a free America we are given the right to choose when is a good time to conceive. Also birth control is used for medical issues such as endometriosis. I am petitioning to get him off my local radio.

Former inmates are being prosecuted even outside of the judicial system daily upon release. With a criminal record, convicts find it difficult to find a place to contribute for the good of society. The American judicial system have put in place a catch twenty-two loop hole, where ex-offenders and felons find difficult to adapt. Congress has a $50 million budget designated to help ex-offenders and convicted felons with employment. Help bring this forward so ex-offenders and felons can make their contribution to society.

Sufficient care for mental health patients is a matter of life and death, not only that of the patient, but of their family, friends and the community at large. The death of a New Orleans Police Woman at the hands of a mental health patient released into the community without medications is one of many cases. If we wish to cut our murder rate, we should not cut mental health funds!

Although it is not the spirit of the law, the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act has a clause in it that is used to protect the rights of convicted sex offenders and abusive coaches rather than the safety of child athletes. The Act requires that a national governing body "demonstrates that its membership is open to any individual who is an amateur athlete, coach, trainer, manager, administrator, or official active in the sport for which recognition is sought..." National governing bodies, such as USA Gymnastics, believe that this clause prevents them from excluding convicted sex offenders and abusive coaches on their permanently ineligible list ("banned coaches") from sending child athletes to their sanctioned events. Coaching ethics should be made explicit: Coaches do not exploit athletes or other participants over whom they have supervisory, evaluative or other authority; coaches do not engage in sexual/romantic relationships with athletes or other participants over whom the coach has evaluative, direct or indirect authority, because such relationships are likely to impair judgment or be exploitative. In addition, a mandatory reporting clause should be added, which would require all adults working with children under the umbrella of a national governing body to report concerns of child abuse and neglect.

Rick Perry has been a leader on the front of the republican party's assault on female reproductive rights. We are 51% of the population, we do not need his permission to have health care. He has no business in his government takeover of female health issues.

Regardless of your political affiliation, think about how you would feel if your daughter, sister or mother had been called that by an entertainer- how would that make you feel? I think that Rush went too far, and that he should face the fact that the American people want civil discourse.
