The Oklahoma "personhood" law, which decrees that life and personhood begin at conception, will effectively ban most forms of hormonal contraception including "the Pill." It would lead to the prosecution of women for miscarriage. There are no exceptions for rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother.

The middle and lower class in this state don't have a chance, the retired and elderly have even less. The politicians just make changes when they want to, don't the PEOPLE of Indiana have any say in anything??? I thought this was supposed be a democractic society and STATE !!! Looks like the state is ripping us off, it's not suppose to have it's cake an eat it too.

The Govenor who is supposed to be our CEO and looking out for our interest is not! He wants to give away Billions! To corporations that are makiing historic profits, with little to no gain. Even after an independant consultant described it as a Disaster!

Three city councilors have approved the building of a dam at Ragged Mountain natural area, a project which will require the destruction of up to 200 acres of wildlife habitat- one of the coolest local hiking getaways. It's not too late to stop this unnecessary and wasteful plan. Because there has not been a public referendum giving the community a say in the issue, the whole thing is illegal. Sign a petition to tell the City Council that there is no need to destroy this unique spot when there are more ecologically and economically efficient ways to meet a city's growing water needs.

I am making this petition for anyone that is behind the West Memphis Three. Back in 1993 the state of Arkansas railroad three innocent teens for the brutal murders of three little 8 year old boys. Although the guys have maintained the innocence from day one and been let out of prison via an Alford Plea, the real killer/killers are still to this day at large. Show your support and let the state of Arkansas know that you as an American will not stand for this kind of injustice. I for one find appalling that the sate of Arkansas or any state for that matter would ruin the lives of three innocent people rather than put the real killer/killers behind bars. In the state of Missouri, there are currently college students that do not qualify for state scholarships that their colleagues do because they have not yet completed a high school diploma or GED. Let's bring this to the attention of the state of Missouri and try to level the playing field for the sake of our students!

Please: I urge you to watch the documentary "Gasland" to understand the ill conceived idea behind fracking close to populated areas in Colorado. The enormous use of water in fracking is unprecedented.
