This Petition is the beginning of what will be a long process in getting a “bill” to Congress; Senate and the White House. This Petition is geared to require any company, corporation, private business, nonprofit and/or anyone profiting from any war that uses any US Military Personal, to pay a percentage of their profits to the Veterans Administration. These funds will go to help our Vets and their Families. These funds will help the Troopers and their families with medical and recovery. I would not limit these funds to Post war use; I would make sure that the families here at home get funds that they need while their loved ones are away fighting these wars. These War Profiteers have made their wealth off of the blood and tears of our Military personal and their families for too long. Not only have we lost lives but some if not most that return are in need of a lifetime medical care. We have lost more than most know we lost the wisdom and knowledge of our elders. What kind of Country would we be now if we had kept all that has been lost because of wars? Require anyone making a profit from war pay for using our Men and Women to line their pockets with the blood of our loved ones. On a personal note: I understand that at certain times a War might be necessary. As in WWII, we had to do what was necessary to stop Hitler and his killing of so many people. But I realize what we lost as a Nation and Family, we lost a big part of our heritage, generations of values our troopers took with them have been taken away from us forever. I feel we have lost our way in this world and I would like to see us have a chance to rebuild and give our lost values a chance to reestablish. We need to pull together as Americans, and this includes everyone, all races, and cultures, everyone who resides in America. Let’s help our own and make these Profiteers help pay for it.

Please do not allow the republicans to destroy employment for the hard working union workers that are educated, trained and work in safe work environments. We need to become strongly United to stop this crazy stupid move that our government wants to do to us. United We Stand Divided We Fall!!!!!

“Should two adults in New Jersey, not of The Same Blood line, and of sound mind be able to enter into a Mutually Exclusive Marriage Contract; Yes or No?” If the majority of all citizens in New Jersey want their marriage recognized by the state of New Jersey, they would have to vote yes. If the majority of citizens don’t care to have their marriage recognized by the state of New Jersey, and the benefits that go with a state recognized marriage, they can vote no. Since this is a referendum to the New Jersey State Constitution, no marriage would be grandfathered, and no marriage would be exempted. This would be a straight up or down vote by every citizen in New Jersey. If the Majority vote’s No, New Jersey would cease to recognize state issued marriage licenses, and any New Jersey Law referencing Marriage would be removed from New Jersey statutes. The question on the New Jersey ballot would be phrased as such: ““Should two adults in New Jersey, not of The Same Blood line, and of sound mind be able to enter into a Mutually Exclusive Marriage Contract; Yes or No?”

Hundreds of millions of people's health are adversely affected by routine dental issues (cavities, broken teeth, etc.) that are inexpensive in of themselves to address whereas the health delivery system is making trillions of dollars treating health issues like diabetes, obesity, coronary artery disease, strokes to name a few that develop because of dental health neglect.

Decades ago, income tax filers could elect to donate a dollar or not to donate a dollar to Political Groups in order to seek the most honest and qualified Presidential Candidate and provide support at a very reasonable financial level. Currently, lobbyists, paid by large corporations, outspend and control our Country's political appetite with greed as their ultimate goal. This is very wrong! Let's do something about this issue NOW!

My daughter (19 months old at the time) was severely injured, and the state of Kansas doesn't have strict enough punishing guidelines for child abusers that are first time offenders. I don't believe that someone who hurts a baby deserves a second chance. Help create this law. Children deserve a future. The current laws are placing children back into the hands of abusive parents, and putting the abusers back on the streets. My daughter survived, others aren't as lucky. This has to end.

It makes no sense to dole out massive new tax cuts to the wealthy while stripping low-income and disabled Mainers of needed healthcare services and consequently putting 4,400 healthcare providers out of work. At no time since the Great Depression have America’s wealthy elite enjoyed a lower tax rate then they do right now. Tell your legislators and Governor LePage you want the wealthiest 1% to pay their fair share.

The proposed foreclosure settlement deal Obama is pressuring state Attorneys General to go along with would only give you $20,000 off your principal amount due. So many middle class families are underwater by $50,000-$200,000. They will still be underwater if this settlement is finalized. In addition, $1,400 may be awarded in cases where there is clear fraud by the banks. This is simply wrong and again rips off the average homeowner struggling to keep his head above water. Don't let them get away with robbing us again. Please sign this petition and send a message that says "No" to Wall Street influence on a foreclosure deal.

Clean water is more important then oil! Stop frackling till we really know how to provide SAFE frackling or an appropriate alternative.
