  • Congress repeal the payment of the $7500 loan given to 2008 first-time homebuyers
    People who purchased homes in 2008. were given a $7500 loan as a dowm payment. Then the government turned around in 2009 and gave everyone a $8000 credit. I am stuck now paying $500 a year for the next 11years because of this. I think this totally unfair. The government should appeal this so all of us do not have to pay the $500 a year back.

Public financing of campaigns would make the people the funders.     Voters can't name 2 County Judges, yet, in Cook County alone, a Judge has NEVER been NOT Retained! They are accountable to no one and they count on you not knowing who they are-and your apathy.
