End Insider Trading in CongressToday, the average portfolio of members of Congress far out perform the portfolios of average Americans. The reason for this is because Congress is legally allowed to trade based upon insider information. President Obama asked the members of Congress to send him a bill ending insider trading in Congress, and unless they feel the pressure from "We The People", nothing is going to get done.339 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Zachary Tate Taylor

recount south carolinaElection year is upon us and already we are seeing the signs of voter fraud, let us not allow another election go by without uniting our voices and crying foul when we see it occur. Prior to this past week in South Carolina, Ron Paul had been gaining momentum, going from ignored by the media to 3rd in Iowa to 2nd in New Hampshire to 4th in South Carolina? Ron Paul received the endorsement of governor Tom Davis of South Carolina. Ron Paul a veteran, who has received the most contributions of any of the current candidates combined including our President Obama, Ron Paul a loyal husband of 55 years, a christian, and a speaker who had more attendees than Newt Gingrich, came in 4th place? Newt Gingrich came in 4th in Iowa, tied for 4th in New Hampshire, and according to the associated press had to cancel "a campaign appearance in South Carolina because of poor attendance" while in the meantime Dr. Paul had over 1000 supporters at one of his stops at the College of Charleston. Primary elections are traditionally driven by enthusiasm. In other words, the average voter does not turn out for primaries unless they are motivated by a certain candidate. I move for a recount to keep the status quo in check, as we must remain vigilant and not allow for fraud to tamper with our democratic process of electing our officials. Ron Paul is a shock to the status quo and I feel he is being down played so as to not allow his momentum to rise. If you agree please sign the petition. a Ron Paul supporter25 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Charles Giura

TheIndyChannel.com Indiana Cosmetology Could Be Deregulated Cosmetology License Bill Draws Protest http://www.wishtv.com/dpp/news/politics/cosmetology-license-bill-draws-protests THIS WILL AFFECT YOU TOO…SEE HOW Everyone should attend. The more people, the better HOUSE BILL No. 1006 Link: http://www.in.gov/legislative/bills/2011/HB/HB1006.2.html We may have won a small battle January 20th, 2012; however, we have not yet won the war...100s of people showed up at the Public Hearing for HB 1006 to oppose this bill. Friday, January 20, 2012 by 9:30 am we as a group occupied the entire basement of the State House (i.e., standing room only in every room, corridor, and hallway). The Committee for Employment, Labor and Pensions were not prepared for the turn-out of Cosmetologist & Barbers. We can do it again! Highlights... The Committee for Employment, Labor and Pensions had an Advisory Committee R.O.E.C. “Regulation Occupation Evaluation Committee” was create by the House of Representatives General Assembly (i.e., to research all the State Boards and Commissions in as far back as 2010) and the report is due by July 1st each year. After R.O.E.C. concluded their research and presented their findings before the House of Representatives December 2011 Session deadline. R.O.E.C. recommended that (4) Boards and Commissions be deregulated. After the deadline on January 6th, 2012 the Committee for Employment, Labor and Pensions decided to attach the deregulation of these (4) Boards and Commissions to the already existing “RIGHT-TO WORK BILL. R.O.E.C. tried to justify their findings of why we don’t need to be regulated by the State Government. I realized that they had not really done their homework. Not enough research on Cosmetology & Barber. (See Questions) and (Our Answers) 1. Just because you’re not licensed…does that mean that your profession is not important? Answer: It is important to us to be more than certified. We worked hard to get our license and it would make it impossible to relocate into a state that requires a license to transfer and work. 2. Just because you’re not licensed…Does it mean that the consumer will lose the quality of services? Answer: In our profession we perform many corrective services, because for some reason a non-professional has screwed up the procedures and the result were not favorable to the consumer. 3. Just because you’re not licensed…Are the fees worth the license? Answer: Yes! We are willing to pay a higher licensing fee if the result is better state regulation of our profession (i.e., State cost to do business by the IPLA is $$216,376.00 annually. State revenue is $1,441,000.00). You do the math! (1)Where is the offset of $1,224,624.00? (2)What is being done with it? 4. Just because you’re not licensed…What would consumers lose? Answer: The consumer is at risk of losing their sight (malpractice injury), their money (no liability), their hair (chemical treatment), their life (paralyzed or death from massages) etc… 5. Just because you’re not licensed…Would you lose customers? Answer: Yes, if we cannot compete with the prices of “Kitchen Curls”, “Back Room Relaxers” and Over-the-Counter Colors. 6. Just because you’re not licensed…Is the occupation worthy? Answer: We perform services that require customer satisfaction that allows them to be unique as they present their selves to the world. 7. If licensing is eliminated…will it cause harm? Answer: It will create a chain reaction of loses to the entire Beauty Industry. (See loses) Tax-Revenue-produced for $700,000,000 (lost by the state) Beauty & Barber Schools (out of business) Master Educators (jobs lost) Professional Salons (out of business) Licensed-Practitioners (jobs lost) Professional Product-Manufacturers (out of business) Professional Product-Distributors (jobs lost) Insurance Companies-Malpractice/Liability or Full Spectrum Insurance (lose in revenue) Sense of Security-Receiving Services by a trained licensed professional. Apprenticeships-I personally will not train anyone advance techniques if the end result is not a professional license and career (lose in revenue) New Business Openings-The advance training of new entrepreneurs (new jobs) 8. If licensing is eliminated…can’t you regulation your profession? Answer: We want better regulation by the state government, and so do our clients. Because it only cost $216,376.00 if we are bringing in almost $1.5 million in revenue…We deserve it. PLEASE CALL Governor Mitch Daniels Office (317) 232-4567 or call 1 (800) 382-9842 Indiana State House of Representatives to help stop them from eliminating the Cosmetology & Barber, Nail Technician, and many other industry professions. WPPPP (War Profiteers need to Pay a Percentage of their Profits)WPPPP - (War Profiteers need to Pay a Percentage of their Profits) www.wpppp.org Hello and thank you for viewing and hopefully signing my Petition. This Petition is the beginning of what will be a long process in getting a “bill” to Congress; Senate and the White House. This Petition is geared to require any company, corporation, private business, nonprofit and/or anyone profiting from any war that uses any US Military Personal, to pay a percentage of their profits to the Veterans Administration. These funds will go to help our Vets and their Families. These funds will help the Troopers and their families with medical and recovery. I would not limit these funds to Post war use; I would make sure that the families here at home get funds that they need while their loved ones are away fighting these wars. These War Profiteers have made their wealth off of the blood and tears of our Military personal and their families for too long. Not only have we lost lives but some if not most that return are in need of a lifetime medical care. We have lost more than most know we lost the wisdom and knowledge of our elders. What kind of Country would we be now if we had kept all that has been lost because of wars? Require anyone making a profit from war pay for using our Men and Women to line their pockets with the blood of our loved ones. On a personal note: I understand that at certain times a War might be necessary. As in WWII, we had to do what was necessary to stop Hitler and his killing of so many people. But I realize what we lost as a Nation and Family, we lost a big part of our heritage, generations of values our troopers took with them have been taken away from us forever. I feel we have lost our way in this world and I would like to see us have a chance to rebuild and give our lost values a chance to reestablish. We need to pull together as Americans, and this includes everyone, all races, and cultures, everyone who resides in America. Let’s help our own and make these Profiteers help pay for it.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by William Neumiller
