• Protect Fathers Human Rights
Fathers human rights and constitutional rights are being violated by Family Court Judges and uncooperative co-parents daily and this has a negative impact on children and society alike. In 90% of all child-custody cases mothers are awarded residential custody based solely on their gender and not on the "Best Interest of the Child". Many studies has been conducted on this matter and it has been concluded that children that grow up without their father are more like to become juvenile delinquents, high school drop outs, incarcerated, drug abusers, teen parents, commit domestic violence and more. Fathers are very important to the rearing and upbringing of a child and should be treated fairly in child custody hearings. Please stand with us to Protect Fathers Human Rights and put an end to the discrimination they are faced with daily. Gender discrimination is wrong and has no place in America!

  • Attorney's should be mandated to have Malpractice Insurance!
If an irresponsible attorney makes mistakes that cause people harm and he carries NO Malpratice Insurance and has NOTHING in his name, he/she has insulated himself/herself from lawsuits BUT they can turn around and sue you.. This is injustice and is unfair. This has to be corrected.by a law that would require any attorney to carry Malpractice Insurance to be licensed to practice law!

  • Airlines: We want our luggage on OUR flights
In a misguided effort to correct their own flawed business models, most airlines now charge for the right to check even a single suitcase. And yet, the airlines reserve the right to place your suitcase(s) on a different flight without telling you in advance and without being obliged to offer you a refund for a service they did not, in fact, provide. If airlines want to charge for baggage service, they should be required to actually provide that service rather than subject passengers to the extreme inconvenience and stress that invariably accompanies arrival at a destination without one's belongings. If the airlines are going to charge for a service, they should be required to provide it or refund your money. Period.

  • Stricter laws against animal abusers
From the woman who tortures turkeys at Butterball Farms to the American soldier on video tape beating a sheep to death with a metal bat, there are countless other crimes against animals. If we do not have laws that deter these crimes against nature, evidence proves that animal abuse is linked to the abuse and death of children. We demand that action be taken to give all animals rights. The right to be treated humanely and with respect. The subject should not be shelved for a later time or ignored in lieu of political agendas. Animal abuse caused by people young and old need to face harsher sentences and consequences. Animals are here to co-exist with us and they should have rights to be treated with respect and in a humane fashion and nothing less.

  • Government Lawmakers Don't Pay?
Those dealing with our deficit, Social Security, and ways to reduce taxes are the same people (Senate) receive a life time retirement no matter how many terms they serve. Also, there are groups that do not have to pay into Social Security. These are the individuals who vote on how much they will receive for a raise and write a law that makes it okay for them to invest with prior stock market info. which is illegal for the American citizen. Campaign money had led to more corruption in government than ever. Supreme Court should change decision and have all campaign money go into one fund that is divided up equally.

  • Statehood for Puerto Rico (including the USVI)
There are four million "citizens" of the United States in two adjoining colonies in the Caribbean, the misnamed "Commonwealth" of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Real, first-class citizens have the right to vote for President and Congress, but 4 million Americans in the Caribbean have no such right.

  • Force Visa & Mastercard to cease SOPA support
These two credit card giants are supporting the ill-conceived bill known as SOPA. This bill will be further debated in congress AND THEN LIKELY PASSED after it re-convenes January 17th. To date, only one credit card company that I know of, American Express opposes this bill, and I personally am switching to it.

  • Against Right to Work legislation in Indiana
Last year in Indiana we fought the "Right to Work" for less legislation and defeated it. This year we are in the fight again. Tomorrow the Indiana session begins. The Republicans are being supported with out of state funds to make this happen. Our Repulican Governor Mitch Daniels would love for this to happen, a feather in his hat. Please let your friends and family know in Indiana RTW would bring wages down for all Hoosiers. It is a union busting/defunding tactic plan and simple. It destroys our collective bargaining power and our voice.

  • Eliminate as much money as possible from the election process.
It's about making paid political ads (which are nothing more than sound bites, usually) go away in favor of only debates and Q and A sessions.

  • Save Social Security
We have no problem funding foreign countries while we keep stealing from our own social programs. We need to fund SSI to insure our elderly have a reasonable means to live.

  • Term Limits
To get a petition going for a nation wide referendum ballot for Congressional term limits 0f one term no longer than six years for both the House Of Representatives and the Senate. Our elected officials spend more time and money trying to get re-elected the they do on the matters and issues that are destroying our Country. If there isn't an option for re-election, they could put all of their attentions on running our Country.

  • Stop the XL Pipeline. Let Canada Export It's Own Oil
The XL Pipeline terminates at Port Arthur Texas. Port Arthur is an export port. Valero, one of the backers of the pipeline, intends to export the refined oil in the form of diesel to Europe and Asia. Trans Canada has already testified that if the product can't be exported the refineries will back out of the deal. Why do we risk our land, our air and get nothing? Tell Congress we aren't stupid. Sign now! We have very little time left!
