In Eureka, California, a chain link fence has been erected around the lawn of the County Courthouse to keep the public out. Leaders have been targeted and arrested repeatedly Without cause for merely being present in an effort to end the occupation of this central public space. Violence has been used by law enforcement resulting in physical injuries resulting in broken ribs and head injuries. Personal and community property has been seized and destroyed-- everything from pop-up canopies, a library of resource materials to homeless persons winter survival gear.

This petition is about stopping the violence against prepubescence.

Randall Terry's group is poised to buy advertising time on NBC's airing of the Super Bowl on Feb. 5, 2012. These 30 second spots will depict images of aborted fetuses which are disturbing and not fit for airing during what is a family-oriented sports event. Mr. Stephen B. Burke, CEO, of NBC Universal has the opportunity to prevent these reprehensible images that portray a 3rd trimester aborted fetus from being viewed by children. Randall Terry's group has furthered the hate messages against women and the LGBT community. He and his group is attempting to have the millions of NBC viewers witness despicable and offensive images on February 5, 2012.

SOPA is threatening the internet as we know it. Sites that support any form of file sharing such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and even joke websites such as FunnyJunk, MemeBase, and 9Gag will all be blacked out if SOPA is passed. SOPA will destroy the internet, not only for Americans, but for the world and for anyone on this planet with a computer. America doesn't own the internet, no one country does, and SOPA is arrogant to think that we can control a global research and networking device. If SOPA is passed, the world will suffer from it. We cant force our laws on the entire planet, let alone something as infinite and beautiful as the internet. Please don't let SOPA ruin the internet for the world. You have the power to stop them.

Ann Richards was a wonderful lady and a one of Texas's greatest Governors - and had a wicked sense of humor. It's time we honor this exceptional leader by renaming a roadway in Dallas, TX - preferably Northwest Highway, Central Expressway or the Dallas North Tollway.to the name. Governor Richards was a role model for young women (and actually so many of us, men included) - with quotes like "Ginger Rogers did everything that Fred Astaire did. She just did it backwards and in high heels", she made it clear that women were to be respected, in politics and beyond. PS - if another city in Texas would like to have a road named in her honor, please feel free to start another petition.
