One does not have to be an economic genius to know job creation will cure the country's ills. Not just 2.2 million, but 30 million, fair living wage jobs for all. The more money we as the working class have, the more we will spend... Prosperity for all, not just a select few. Fund it by Income Tax, everyone at the bottom pays it every week..... This is a challenge to Congress to stop their treasonous war against the middle and lower classes. If Pro is the opposite of Con, is Progress the opposite of Congress? This is a challenge to Congress to perform their duties.

Our federally elected officials are not in touch with the reality lived by their constituents. They deserve to be compensated for their work, but shared sacrifice demands that they share in the budgetary cuts and challenges that face those constitutents.

Remove the social security tax upper limit, the people fortunate enough to make that amount of money are blessed and they should not complain about a burden they can afford rather than place the burden on the seniors who cannot afford it.

In the August debt deal, we are proud that Democrats found a way to help save the Pell Grant program, which helps many low-income students afford a college education. However, we are ashamed that Republicans forced cuts to graduate education loans in order to pay for the Pell Grant program. We ask that you stop the attacks on education by Republicans, and help restore the funding for the graduate education loans, while preserving the Pell Grant program. Students know that deficit spending is a problem. But how can a political party oppose ending tax subsides for corporations and the wealthy, and then have no problem ending subsidies for student loans? At a time when corporations are seeing record profits and students are seeing record debt, we ask that the government places the burden on those with record profits, not record debt. Your position on the super committee gives you the chance to fix this clear injustice, and we ask you to do so.

Pennsylvania faced a tough budget situation, and college students understand that everyone needs to do their part. However, students are all too aware of debt. Student debt in this country is at a record high. There are many opportunities to make up Pennsylvania's debt without forcing more debt on students. While gas drillers risk our environment, you refuse to consider a severance tax or impact fee that could help pay for the environmental costs of drilling as well as funding other vital programs like higher education. Despite the dire predictions and calls for fiscal responsibility, Pennsylvania ended the fiscal year with a surplus of around $700 million. The total cuts to the entire higher education system were around $250 million. By using less than half of the surplus Pennsylvania could have preserved it’s higher education funding. Furthermore, you passed a tax cut for businesses that would cost at least $200 million and could cost up to $800 million. In addition, your budget increases funding for prisons by over $150 million. These ideas are just a few of the many options you can take to restore funding to the higher education system in Pennsylvania.

Wealthy entities have been spending literally tens of billions of dollars a year for well over forty years on network security. Why is that? Because it is impossible to secure an electronic medium. We have given our most precious right, the right to vote, to that impossible to secure medium.

Control over money is control over the democratic political process. This explains why access to the political ballot is not enough to unleash sustainable growth in ways that not only create more green jobs but in ways that also democratize future ownership opportunities for the poor and middle class to share economic power and income from profits.

With the total lack of bi-partianship, the "old school" ways of the far right and left, and the desire of our citizens to "throw out the old, bring in the new", why not refresh the Senate and Congress by limiting everyone to 2 terms in office? Stop the voting for the incumbent syndrome, return these folks to their jobs and reality.

Hemp can be used to make paper & building products (saving our forests) As medicinal products Hemp is full of healthy Omega oils and natural healing properties. It can be used to make clothing, which will create a whole new productive job force & Much MUCH MORE... It ALONE can get our country out of its debt! Not to mention all of the prison room it would free up & the tax money it would save that minor weed court cases have been useing up for decades! The age of Hearst, who started this war against weed generations ago, has ended... it went the way of the newspaper. Let's begin this new age by legalizing the flowering plant that grows to help us in SO many ways.... the days of prohibition is over, drugs have killed millions, weed has NEVER KILLED ANYONE.

My petition is to gather support for a nationwide federal income tax payment stoppage if no reform of the tax code results from the current negotiations and the code is not reformed to tax the wealthy and corporations equitably as compared to those in the middle class. This petition is needed to bring needed counter pressure on legislators that bears on them from the wealthy and corporations. If middle income people and workers continue to decrease in number from taxation inequity and loss of jobs, the economy, infrastructure, and the country in general will continue to suffer and the balance of power in favor of those with lots of money will continue to widen, further eroding the rights, benefits, and influence of the middle class.
