9/11 has served as the foundation for an open-ended war and other nefarious policies. Yet President Obama and all members of the U.S. Congress have refused to acknowledge the most self-evident contradiction of the official 9/11 narrative: "Building 7's destruction has all the attributes of a controlled demolition, but it is necessarily due to an office fire, since the official investigations so determined." It is time to challenge politicians of all stripes to face an enigma that the average 6th grader is capable of comprehending as they keep wasting military power and other resources into terribly misguided endeavors.

American children are citizens of the United States, and yet they often do not have their rights protected. No child should be abused, and every child has the right to a good education, a loving family, and good health care. Please stand up for what is right, and campaign for the United States to pass the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Children.

Political prisoners rotting in prisons since 9/11 without being proven guilty, or with no substantial charges, or fabricated charges

For many years and several Presidential terms now, our government shows more and more everyday how the most serious issues facing our Congress are decided by political wars, self-interests and pocket-lining, rather than what serves the best interests of our taxpayers and citizens. We propose that TERM LIMITATIONS be imposed on the members of our House and Senate so that matters may be dealt with more objectively and in favor of the people. Several states saw the benefit of term limitations long ago and they are self-imposed. The vast majority of states have not been willing to see the benefit to such a policy. We would suggest that a member of the House not serve more than three consecutive terms and a member of the Senate not more than 2 consecutive terms. Currently, 60-78% of voters support this measure. Please show your support for a stronger, more effective government that is once again FOR THE PEOPLE and not just the players in Congress. Help to ENACT TERM LIMITATIONS NOW!

We are calling for a moratorium on deportations until there is rational, family sensitive immigration reform.

This is a petition to the Congress of The United States of America and the President of The United States of America to reinstate the act, Glass-Steagall, which was summarily repealed in 1999 by passage of the Graham Leach Bliley Act which allowed our financial industry to commingle financial institution depositor's funds with speculative investment funds endangering those funds,the well-being of those whose rightful property those funds belonged, and the basis of the national economy of the United States of America. Glass-Steagall calls for separation of Investment and Commercial Banking Institutions.

We need to fight against corruption in our government! I haven't talked to anyone, no matter their political beliefs, that doesn't think this is the root of most if not all of our problems. So i've come up with this short list of remedies to fight against the corruption that is crippling our great country. 1. Publically fund all campaigns local, state and national. 2. Cap the amount of money each candidate could spend proportionate to the office they are seeking. 3. Require all media as a condition of their license to operate in this country, to provide equal time to all qualified candidates and their views. 4. Outlaw the lobby system. Make receiving gifts or money etc. i.e. any compensation or promise of such an act of treason and punishable as such.

I believe that incredible damage was done to this country by the irresonsibility that was exhibited by Wall Street prior, during and after the crash of 2008 which nearly took down our entire country's economy. There has not been one person charged, not one grand jury convened and no justice for the many who have suffered the aftershocks of Wall Street Greed.

Tell President Obama and Congress it is time to take a stand for the environment, Jobs are important, especially if you are out of work, but this is the only planet we have. You can try to get another job if you lose one, but you can't get another planet. Come on people look to the future or we will not have one.

As our economy still flat-lines at ZERO jobs created, unemployment and underemployment continue to hold our country down and hold our families hostage. Meanwhile, the bickering in Congress has already begun about a plan THAT HAS NOT YET EVEN BEEN RELEASED. We're calling on Congress to support the President for the sake of our nation or understand that they will join the ranks of the unemployed.

The House is requiring that all funding for the James Webb Space Telescope, Hubble’s successor, be cut entirely. In other words, they are canceling the JWST program. This is a killer blow to U.S. astronomical research and education. JWST is central to NASA's mission and employs thousands of people world-wide. Support the reinstatement of funding for JWST!
