Reverse emergency Ordinance 474The citizens of Perkins Oklahoma that enjoy setting off fireworks want the city commission to rescind ordinance 474, an ordinance that bans the use of fireworks within city limits. We have been setting off fireworks for years. The city commission stated some reasons behind ordinance 474. The city commission stated that litter was one reason for banning fireworks. You can drive down several roads in Perkins and see litter on the sides of the roads during times that citizens aren't using fireworks. Another reason the city council used was safety. Chief Barta, the Fire Chief of Perkins said in a city council meeting that "in his 25 years he didn't believe there had been any structure fires or medical calls related to fireworks." Only a few grass fires. Another reason was veterans with PTSD and the effect fireworks have on them. We know hundreds, if not thousands of veterans with PTSD that aren’t bothered by fireworks. We want the emergency ordinance 474 rescinded. If the city commission chooses not to rescind their decision, we the citizens of Perkins want this matter voted on by the citizens and the results finalized by June 14th.155 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Michael

Save Adobe FlashIt's not just about keeping Adobe Flash, it's about the rights of the children of this generation, and the next. I grew up playing CoolMathGames and dress up games on StarSue.net, I want my little siblings to be able to take part in that too. Many 2000's kids are outraged about Adobe Flash shutting down because it's not just about a few game websites shutting down, it's about our childhood.11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Max Horne

Ban Plastic Bags In Washington StateIf we were to do this, we would see a huge impact, and maybe even a small rise in population. Plastic bags are killing the earth. Something needs to be done soon. Let's start with Washington and get other states to join us. Once everyone sees the results from banning plastic bags, they will realize what a big impact all plastic is making in our oceans and we can all come together to make this a better planet. We'd appreciate it so much if you'd sign. Thank you.57 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Madeline

FREE DENOVIAN ROYSTER, SIGN THE PETITIONThe system of mass incarceration costs the government and families of justice-involved people at least $182 billion every year. THIS IS A CASE OF ACTUAL AND FACTUAL INNOCENCE. More than 50,000 prisoners are serving life without parole in America today — an all-time high. The late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia said in a 2015 opinion, “The reality is that any innocent defendant is infinitely better off appealing a death sentence than a sentence of life imprisonment.”151 of 200 SignaturesCreated by MINISTER ALIF
