  • Preserve and Protect Wetlands and Natural Resource Areas in Massachusetts!
    The Dover Amendment in Massachusetts as it stands today allows non-profit institutions to circumvent local natural resource zoning and wetland bylaw restrictions. We support Amendment H.1765 that will change the Dover Amendment so that future real estate and construction projects must adhere to these local zoning bylaws and protections. We urge the Members of the Joint Committee of Municipalities and Regional Government to move this important Amendment for a vote.

    I want to see Illinois styrofoam free. We need to do something to help the environment before it’s too late. Change starts with us♻️🌳🌿🍃💚 How bad is Styrofoam? Really bad Dioxins cause immune and hormonal problems and affect fetal development. When Styrofoam is burnt for energy or for disposal, it is released into the environment leading to air pollution. Affects the Ozone layer. Can cause health problems when inhaled by people and animals.💨🦋🙊🐸🐰🐶🐼🐴🐠🐬🐋🐅🦍🦚🌎🌏🌍

    When Congress votes to go to war, or raise taxes, or reduce consumer protections, it affects DC residents like me as much as citizens of Florida or North Dakota. But DC residents are denied the ability to have a say in these decisions. Making matters worse, because DC is not a state, Congress meddles in our affairs -- for example, rom 1998 to 2007, Congress banned a clean needle exchange program that the DC government had implemented, intending to prevent the spread of disease associated with the use of dirty needles.
