I/we the people are tired of our representatives having the lack of our interest but insist on having their own personal agenda. Our country is based on Moral and Legal values and laws and Mr. Graham, having served our country, should be ashamed of his conduct. His behavior represents some in his Republican Party, not the People who did or did not elect him.

  • "10 cities and thousands of targets"
According to the Washington Post, Donald Trump and Stephen Miller are considering a "shock and awe" plan targeting as many as 10,000 families, parents, and children for mass arrest and deportation across the United States. They seem to think that the implementation of this plan will deter new migrants from coming to the U.S.-Mexico border. Remember--this is what they said about their family separation plan too, and look how hugely destructive that was. ICE raids targeting 10,000 parents and children would mean: - ICE officials with guns in our neighborhoods - Families ripped out of their homes and taken away - Children crying as families are separated again - Children stranded in schools as parents are taken away This plan would be hugely scarring and destructive, and we need to take action if we don't want to see these scenes plastered across the media. This cannot be the defining image of America. TELL CONGRESS that they cannot allow our taxpayer dollars to fund any of this. If the Trump Administration implements this plan, there should be no funding for ICE. Please SIGN and SHARE.

  • Tell Congress that tampons, pads and menstrual cups are not luxury products!
The average woman spends 2,535 days on her period. That’s nearly seven years of her life of worrying if she has the necessary products to get through the day and trying to find a makeshift solution if she doesn’t. These “solutions” can lead to skipping work, school, or to severe health problems, like toxic shock syndrome. This is especially true for incarcerated women, where 80 percent have had to use a homemade tampon and 88 percent had to resort to leaking blood. While women spend a significant amount of money purchasing menstruation hygiene products each year—$2 billion to be exact—these essential goods are still inaccessible for many. There are currently no government assistance programs to help offset the cost. Menstrual hygiene products not only impact a woman’s health, but also her self-esteem, education, and economic empowerment. Yet for many, these essential products are not accessible. It’s time to fix that.

  • India P5 Member
India, a country with a population of 1.34 billion, is trying to get a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council. They have support from countries all over the world, and have given the UNSC the most peacekeepers out of all countries, including current P5 members. India deserves a seat on the P5.

  • Address the Issue of Self-Driving Cars to the Government
I am researching this topic for my 8th Grade Speech and Debate class in Ridgewood, NJ. after asking around whether people would buy a self-driving car, I thought about what would convince people to be on board with the technology. If the government took action and decided what a car should do in an unavoidable accident, then the worries of many car makers and costumers will be lifted.

  • Pressure Uber and Lyft to Go 100% Electric By 2030!
New research has shown that congestion has increased in large cities where Lyft and other ride-hailing services operate. At the same time, ride-hailing has simultaneously reduced transit ridership in nine major U.S. cities, including the three biggest. Both Lyft and Uber have run ads telling people to get out of public transit and into cars, and Uber even admits in its recent IPO filing that it views public transit as a competitor. Add your name here! Together we can put the pressure on Uber and Lyft to become true leaders of change in the fight against climate change and pollution.

  • If MoveOn Claims to be Progressive
This petition is about Democracy and an inclusion of all candidates in MoveOn’s upcoming event on June 1st. I am tired of seeing Tulsi Gabbard smeared, not covered, and the false information which is being spread by the establishment, about her. Any organization, such as Moveon.org has the responsibility to ensure that the American people are represented completely and with full transparency. I am petitioning this organization because they have not invited Presidential candidate: Tulsi Gabbard to the stage on June 1st. Join me!

  • No Financial Support without Action
I want this President stopped before our American Democracy is lost. The Democrats have the power to begin impeachment procedures. Yet they will not use it. Every day the President buries our Constitution a little deeper.... Where are the Democrats? Since the birth of this Country, ordinary Americans have been willing to fight for America. They have done it with everything they have. Sometimes facing terrible odds, often knowing they might fail. But they pressed on. Americans with that spirit still live here today... We are everywhere. We will not let the risks or the unknown stop us, nor will we waste time calculating the odds.... We will just fight with everything we have because we believe in the cause. There are millions of us... Where are the Democrats?.... Apparently they are waiting until they think it is safe to act because the polls say so. Or for some other "logical" reason?? Are they going to be heroes and leaders or are they just going to wait and analyze (while the house burns to the ground?). They are supposed to be our leaders and they have sworn to protect the constitution... Time for them to do both. If they are afraid to act then they should get out of the way. In which case, they will not need our financial support... Hence this petition....No more contributions to the Democratic Party until impeachment is initiated .

  • HR-2419 - No Nukes, Yes Green New Deal!
For those skeptical about being able to finance a "Green New Deal," this bill could provide that funding, if Congress would take it seriously. “Our bill is as timely as ever,” Norton said in her press release. “Although the United States possesses one of the largest nuclear arsenals, there are still plans to spend trillions of dollars more on these doomsday weapons while urgent domestic needs, including health care, infrastructure, and clean energy, face funding shortfalls. The United States can reestablish our moral leadership in the world by redirecting these funds to urgent domestic issues, not preparing for human extinction.” It's far past time to reverse this madness. Congress can do it. Eleanor Holmes Norton has been trying to do it! It's been stuck in the Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committee. It needs to get to the floor for a vote ... WITHOUT mark-ups! Will you please help?

  • Tell the FTC: Oppose the latest Big Pharma Merger!
Bristol-Myers Squibb wants to spend $74 billion to buy out a rival, Celgene. It would be the largest pharmaceutical merger ever, and their consolidation would give the combined companies number one positions in oncology and cardiovascular drug sales. But there's something we can do to stop this mega-merger. We've seen what happens when big pharmaceutical companies merge -- drug prices soar. It happened to the Epi-Pen. It happened with arthritis drugs. It even happened with insulin. As patients, we bear the ever-increasing costs and many of us can't afford to keep paying and paying. Several of us depend on our prescriptions to stay alive, and nobody should have to choose between a roof over their head and the drugs they need to thrive. The Federal Trade Commission must listen to comments from the public before approving the merger. Here is our chance to speak up. This mega-merger will block the development and sale of affordable drugs and reduce competition just when we need more of it. We can't sit by and let Big Pharma get even bigger, at our expense. Take action and tell the FTC to protect patients by stopping this potential merger now.
