Maryland is an incredibly diverse state and we should be proud of that. Governor Larry Hogan has a unique national profile as a Republican governor of a Democratic state, and we demand that he stop trying to play nice with this racist agenda. We demand that Governor Hogan call out Trump's words as racist and acknowledge the history and context in which these attacks are taking place. And if he won't, we will replace him with somebody who will.

Most businesses do not have a changing station in the mens rooms, we have to change our kids on counters and floors if we have to change them, and its absurd in this day and age to do this to the children. Some dads are single and have no other option than to change their kids on the floor, and some dads are out by themselves and have to do that.

*Our Objective: We are initiating this petition because of the violent and heinous crime that was perpetrated against an unarmed 14-year-old child by his own biological father. Wendell Melton shot and killed his own son on 11/2/2017. He served 4 months in jail and has been living at home awaiting trial with an electronic leg monitor "Program of Intensive Supervision" (NRS 176A.440) prior to trial. According to the State of Nevada: "If the charges against you are sufficiently serious, the judge may hesitate to leave you at liberty while you are awaiting trial, even when you have already posted bail." Our Goal: Is to have Judge Eric Johnson revoke Wendell Melton's "Program of Intensive Supervision" and request that he return to jail and await his court Trial set for 3/10/2020. Why is this important? It is important because it is a slap in the face to our citizens that depend on the legal system in Nevada to be fair and protect us from violent criminals that kill children. This case was mismanaged from the beginning, Judge Eric Johnson was opposed to releasing Wendell Melton from custody, due to the nature of the crime, and flight risk, since the defendant is a licensed pilot. Proof of such statements can be reviewed on court video on 3/22/2018. It was D.A. Dijacamo that persuaded the judge to reduce bail from $808,000 to $200,000 and allow him to post bail for murdering an unarmed child in the chest. Witness to this court proceeding was the victim's mother, Veronica Melton, and Blue Montana. We also petition that the State provide an attorney to the victim's mother, Veronica Melton, in further proceedings. Had she had one on the day that Judge Johnson lowered the bail and let him out on house arrest, then her attorney could have rightfully objected to the motion, but the state and the victims of crime failed to provide one.

Composting in Yonkers is an important milestone to help our city become a truly 'Green City'. Many nearby towns & villages already implement this, including Scarsdale, Tarrytown and even New York City. Let's be the first in Southern Westchester County to roll out a composting drop-off site! It is the first step to bringing composting to all residents of Yonkers.

We are working to select a strong candidate for the 2020 election. We cannot proceed without uniting to address the fact that our electoral system is under “sweeping and systematic attack” and we are poorly defended. Many states are completely dependent on hackable electronic voting systems with no paper back-up to verify questionable results. The Senate intelligence committee reported that in 2016 Russian hackers targeted election systems in all 50 states and “were in a position to delete or change voter data” in the Illinois voter database. NYT writes “the committee described ‘an unprecedented level of activity against state election infrastructure’ intended largely to search for vulnerabilities in the security of the election systems.” We can expect to see the fruits of that Russian search for vulnerabilities in the 2020 election. We urge the candidates in the Democratic debates to unite and focus squarely on this overwhelming threat to the foundation of our democracy, cite the legislation passed by the House to prevent these attacks as well as Republican action to block passage of this legislation.

In Wasatch County, Utah on US Highway 40 at mile marker 40 there is a 3-directional intersection. There have been several accidents here but none more devastating to myself then the horrific car accident that took place on Saturday, July 13th, 2019, which claimed the life of my son. Just before this point, there is a slight Bend in the road as well as a slight incline. For the sake and safety of others, I am petitioning that a caution sign stating intersection ahead please slow down along with some flashing lights be implemented in an attempt to help acknowledge as well as make the countless Travelers aware of the upcoming intersection. Maybe have these already been in place my son would still be here with me today. So in honor of my son, I am respectfully petitioning that these simple warning indicators be secured and utilized.

Com2Us’s mobile games are essentially ripping players off through overcharging players hundreds of dollars to get better at the mobile game 9InningsPro Baseball. This petition is not to fully stop this product or cause backlash, but to create and allow players to get better at the game with other means than just spending exhausting amounts of money (I.e player trading/market.) these features were in older versions of the game and could be implemented again to allow players to have access to the better players of the game without spending hundreds of dollars.
