They can also use this steam to create their own electricity. It has a working farm complete with animals, greenhouse, and solar panels. The beauty of the campus, the student culture, and dedication to all the different aspects of sustainability would be a great loss for the town of Poultney and the region. It would also be a great loss to all the hardworking folks everywhere trying to save our planet. Wells Fargo has many banks in Lubbock Texas and yet they choose to close our ONLY bank in a predominantly Black community. We have no other banks!!

This petition was created to help end female genitalia mutilation in The United States. As of right now, FGM is still considered legal in states across the USA and affects girls of all ages. We want to put a federal ban, as well as a state ban to ensure this cruel and barbaric practice is ended.

Hundreds of students are affected about not having a room for the upcoming school year and it's not fair for the students who have been here already. This is not right

The 68 support staff employees who work in the St. Mary's public schools deserve a living wage and salaries and benefits comparable to similar jobs in surrounding districts. The school board's negotiations team has threatened to terminate them and to hire an out-of-town for-profit corporation. These employees are only about 3 % of the district's budget. These are our friends, neighbors and family members. Tell the school board to stop trying to intimidate these dedicated employees and to settle a fair contract NOW.

As of lately, I have begun to notice that students who often complain of a bad sleep schedule have not been doing as well academically and to me, the correlation is clear between the two.

I am asking you to sign this petition in hopes that Georgetown College will consider donating leftover food from the cafeteria to local shelters in Georgetown. This small step for the college could mean the world to many members of the community!

Candidates for President must make clear their opposition to regressive policies on Cuba and their views on consular policy, ending all travel and agricultural restrictions and repeal of embargo laws.

The persecution of immigrants of color continues. Imprisoning people who do not have a driver's license is one of the tools corporations use to fuel the private prison business. Immigrants rights are violated and the Government ignores the social and economic contributions of immigrants. Americans value hard work, dedication to family and community. We ask for access to driver's licenses for all residents of Minnesota, so that immigrants can participate fully in the economy and community of the state. There are twelve states that make driver's licenses available for all residents of their state: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Vermont, Washington State and Washington D.C. Approving access to licenses for all residents in MN would create a more just state where residents would not be persecuted, families and immigrants would be more protected, racial profiling would be reduced, immigrants would have the right to identify themselves, and we will reduce the business of private prisons. Allowing all immigrants to access a driver’s license will improve overall public safety. Minnesota benefits when we have drivers that are licensed and knowledgeable about traffic rules and regulations. Having Drivers Licenses for all Minnesota residents will benefit many businesses: Drivers will buy more auto insurance, so sales for insurance agencies will increase. Undocumented drivers will buy more cars, so car businesses will have more sales. Financial institutions will be able to finance automobiles so there will be more income for financial institutions. The possible income that the state of Minnesota could earn by approving approximately 100,000 drivers.
