Deforestation are taking the homes of animalsThis problem has been happening for a long time, and cutting a lot of trees is bad for our environment. I think that they should put a limit to the amount of trees people can cut in an area.22 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Katherine

Demand the firing of Frank Macomber, an animal abuser who runs the San Bernardino Animal Shelter!Hundreds of animals have senselessly been euthanized for NO REASON at The San Bernardino Animal Shelter; FIFTY-ONE dogs last month alone!!!! These dogs were not even given a chance- they were not sick, they didn't have aggression issues, they were all healthy, happy dogs when they came into the shelter. This shelter is run by The San Bernardino Police Department, they do NOTHING to adopt dogs out or work with rescues- it is a literal slaughterhouse. In fact, they put the one employee (Jennifer Van Ness) who helped with rescues on administrative leave FOR NO REASON AT ALL. In addition, they allow no beds or blankets, which is why a dog FROZE TO DEATH in her kennel at the San Bernardino Shelter last month. She came into the shelter wearing a pink sweater which was immediately removed so she slowly froze to death- FROZE TO DEATH. The manager of this slaughterhouse, Lt Frank Macomber has a long history of animal abuse and is now responsible for running a shelter and for the death of all these animals. Macomber needs to be fired and never be allowed to work with animals AGAIN. Rescues have offered thousands of dollars in blankets, he has turned them all away. An even bigger part of this story is how Mayor John Valdivia has done NOTHING to remedy the situation. He has received thousands of calls and emails and DOES NOTHING. He is a disgrace to the community and needs to be held accountable for his city's shelter. He has posted LIES on Instagram claiming the shelter is doing a great job and ignores the countless and senseless deaths- mysterious deaths, lack of care, lack of warmth, needless euthanizing (even when there is room at the shelter)- he allows it all, and knows about it all. BOTTOM LINE, WE NEED TO TAKE ACTION- Macomber needs to be removed but this is all at the hands of Mayor John Valdivia who has done NOTHING. He is posting false information and needs to be held accountable. Please tag @mayorjvaldivia. Please email [email protected]. Or call him 909-384-5133 or 909-384-7272. Please call the shelter and ask Macomber why he is senselessly killing animals 909-384-130464 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sara Andreasson

Amend the Constitutional requirements to qualify for President of the United StatesThe world is a more dangerous place than it was when the Constitution was signed 232 years ago. The citizens of our country have a right to know who they are voting for in advance. The information could prevent investigations into the President after they have been elected.155 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Colleen A Ehrhart

I respectfully and humbly ask every American to sign this petition and make 26 year old Mr. Shane...Shane M. Piche, 26, was sentenced on Apr. 25 to 10 years probation and will have to register as a Level 1 sex offender after entering a guilty plea to third-degree rape in February. Judge James P. McClusky's verdict that Piche had no other prior arrests and there was only one victim is unacceptable, unjust, and despicable in every way. The punishment does not fit the crime of rape for this poor young 14-year-old girl and what she endured. She deserves justice and assistance for the after-effects she has and will continue to endure due to this atrocity. The people of the United States demand a new and fair trial for this 14-year-old girl in an appeal to US Court ASAP!51 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Melannie

We say NO to Industry City's Rezoning of Sunset ParkSunset Park has the largest, working-class industrial waterfront in Brooklyn, but Industry City wants to turn it into a playground for the rich. Industry City wants to change current zoning to build large chain retail stores and luxury hotels, which may lead to luxury housing. We must protect long-time residents, workers, and small, locally-owned businesses from rising rents and displacement. This is our neighborhood. We should be deciding the future of our waterfront and neighborhood, not private developers like Industry City. Protect Sunset Park is a coalition of individuals and organizations representing residents, workers, students and small businesses. We are independent from outside groups. Join us and stay informed. Centennial Park Mobile Home Noise BarrierVehicles are traveling extremely close to our homes and will be even closer once the MN pass lane is built. A semi-truck just flew off the side of the road and would have struck one of our homes except there was a pile of wood chippings from the tree and bush removal to build the new lane.26 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Preston

Every citizen deserves a voice! End prison disenfranchisementA true democracy that is of, by, and for the people must extend the right to vote to all its citizens. But by taking the right to vote away from incarcerated people, we’ve created a class of people who are subject to the laws of this country -- but have no say in how they're governed. Then, when district lines are drawn, many states count incarcerated people as residents of the community where the prison is -- violating the principle of one person, one vote. That unfairly skews political representation towards the rural, whiter communities where prisons get built. Our mass incarceration system is silencing the voices and communities most impacted by it. And that’s by design -- dating back to the Jim Crow era, felony disenfranchisement laws have been used to attack Black people’s political power. Join us in calling on state and federal officials to end prison disenfranchisement once and for all.286 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Common Cause
