CU's student body is overwhelmingly progressive, and Mark Kennedy's record proves that he will not represent our collective interests. Here at CU, we value inclusion and diversity. We support LGBTQ students and staff members. The University of Colorado is the crowning jewel of the state's university system, and we will not let it be spoiled by a man who has regressive and discriminatory values. Kennedy has not earned this prestigious position, and should not be trusted in overseeing our education. It is both absurd and upsetting that the regents have allowed him to make it this far in the selection process. Records do not lie: Mark Kennedy is categorically unfit to hold the office of the presidency.

Jacksonville City Ordinance Section 656.331. – Agriculture and General Zoning has requirements that if livestock is housed on your property, then the animals must be kept within 200' of the property line. There are some lots, that although zoned residential rural, are not even 200' wide. Due to this and as a result of a complaint of a neighbor could force me to remove my 5 goats from my property, which I have owned for more than 6 years. I personally grew up in the area and have owned my property for more than 21 yrs. The neighbors have lived in the area less than 2 yrs. The goats are housed, fed, vaccinated and in a very secure pen. They are not a nuisance and are very domesticated. We have grandchildren, friends and their children and grandchildren of friends that absolutely love our goats. Veterans March announced that a call of action has been activated to bring awareness and to seek justice in the Potter V. Homes case in Waldron, Scott County, Arkansas. Jane Westbrook, vice president of Veterans March stated that the call of action is necessary due to the actions of Judge David H. McCormick Judge David H. McCormick, 15th Judicial Circuit, Division 2, against a 89 year old Korean War Veteran who served in the Marine Corps and Army.  The judge has never served his country in the military service and has shown disrespect towards veterans in other matters. "The case is a miscarriage of justice and a directed harm against all veterans who fought for our rights and freedom.  When a judge is aware of forgery and fraud in the case and a active federal investigation and for the judge to refused to allow the evidence to be admitted case a dark cloud upon the integrity of our judicial system." Veterans March is demanding that the United States Department of Justice seek a federal court order to stay the orders of Judge McCormick until the federal investigation of forgery and fraud has been completed.  The judge has set a date of April 20, 2019 as the date to auction all property belonging to Fred Potter, (JusticeForFredPotter.com}.  Not to do so will cause irreparable harm and a continuance of fraud upon the court. Federal court stays are rarely done against a state court.  However, there is president, case history, and supreme court rulings that allow such action. Furthermore, Veterans March is calling for veterans to rally around the country in support of the action and to show support for Fred Potter.  In Arkansas plans are underway for the "Arkansas Walk For Veteran Justice" coordinated by veterans organization: Veterans Walk in Solidarity. Democracy is dying. It died a little on 6/3/17 when Trump's administration jailed Reality Winner using the Espionage Act denying her a fair trial. She had turned over evidence to the news media showing Russia was hacking into our voting machines. Trump was lying at the time saying "no Russian Interference.

This is to voice our concern with such an early start date to the school year!!!

80% of herds are lost in some regions due to poachers trying to kill them and scaring them off from their family. This is concerning because of the alarming rate of extinction for this species. No species should endure the capture and torment these elephants go through.

The time has come for the Democrats to PLAY HARDBALL. Donald Trump and his administration are ignoring the rule of law. It IS time to issue subpoenas. It's time to tell the Sergeant at Arms to take Mnuchin and others who refuse to comply into custody. Congress HAS the inherent power to deal with contempt and it is time to EXERCISE THE POWER. We the people are TIRED of their stalling, blocking, and arrogance.

I am starting this petition to end police brutality and help protect POC (people of color) including myself by letting the police know that they cannot get away with murder. The African American community largely affected and as a POC and a Muslim this needs to stop and our fellow POC's need protection as well.

I, like other concerned Americans, believe that the Attorney General appointed by Trump, AG William Barr, isn't representing the American People properly and with political bias that has jaded his decision making abilities to the point of being totally partisan.

Earlier this week, acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said that the American people will “never” see President Trump's tax returns. This threat puts the very foundation of our democracy in danger. We deserve to know about the President’s background, experience, and business interests. Trump conducts the people’s business from the highest office in the land -- so we should be able to see how he has conducted his private business, too. Trump broke with decades of bipartisan precedent by refusing to release his tax returns during his presidential run (and refusing to place his assets in a blind trust after winning). Since then, evidence of how Trump and his family have personally profited from the presidency keeps piling up. If Congress lets Trump conceal his tax returns, Americans will remain completely in the dark about his potential conflicts of interest and ties (or whether he paid taxes at all). Transparency and accountability should not be partisan issues. Congress must use its power to obtain several years of Trump’s tax returns -- and shed light on the President’s financial dealings.
