• Investigate, regulate, and monitor child protective services
I'm reaching out to all patents that have been affected by child protective services as well as those who have not. This agency here in Alaska is stealing our babies based on hearsay, lies, and or faulty questionable "proofs", without legitimate cause and lack of compassion. They blatantly disregard your civil and constitutional rights. They do not adhere to their own policies. They also use outside agencies to conduct "services" on their behalf supposedly due to lack of funding, which violates more civil and constitutional rights. Our children are being neglected and sexually assaulted, and they purposefully ignore or attempt to cover it up. The police, as well as the public defenders, are also included in their treachery! Conducting drug tests through agencies that have been convicted of fraudulently manipulating results to convict parents of neglect; alienating families rather than re-unifying them; damaging families mentally and emotionally repeatedly; racially biased and culturally incompetent employees; stripping you of all parental rights without you even signing them away. Signing this petition is the just thing to do. There needs to be an agency to oversee this section of the government. Did you know that if your child has been harmed while in states care, you are forced to call the same agency to come and investigate the allegations? Would you ask the cookie monster to investigate who stole the cookie from the cookie jar? No other establishment or agency should be able to hold the power that CPS does. Please stand with me in this battle to protect those we cherish most.

  • Stop Alejandra Juarez's Deportation
Update: Alejandra Juarez was deported on August 3, 2018. A bill has been introduced in the new Congress that will allow her to come home. Please sign our petition in support of the new bill. https://petitions.moveon.org/sign/bring-alejandra-home?source=c.em&r_by=18069385 Alejandra Juarez (Case # A077265754) is scheduled to be deported in August. She has lived in the United States for more than twenty years and has not committed any crimes since her illegal entry as a teenager. She came to the United States in 1998 to escape violence in Mexico. Since then, she has learned English, married a United States marine, raised their first daughter alone for two years while he served in Iraq, and continued to raise two daughters who are both U.S. citizens. She is a valued member of her church where she assists with their ministry to feed the poor. Alejandra’s deportation will cause great harm to her children who were not even born when she came to the United States. Her oldest daughter Pamela wants to become a doctor and now faces the likelihood that she will graduate high school and start college without her mother, who has always been her biggest supporter, at her side. Pamela recently started working to save up money so that she can visit Alejandra in Mexico. Her youngest daughter Estela is too young to be without her mother, so Alejandra’s deportation will essentially deport her as well, even though she is a U.S. citizen and this country is the only home she has ever known. Please allow Alejandra to stay in the United States with her children.

  • "Senior Safety @ The Curve"
We are a large mobile home senior community without safe and easy access in and out on Route 9. The curve in the highway makes it very hard to safely exit either north or south. A traffic light would be a Godsend. Safely getting out prevents close calls for everyone. Make Garden Lake Community a "safety zone" for all.

  • ANTI RACISM PLEDGE!
Hi! My name is Thomas Freedman. Throughout my entire life, I have been someone who has always hated racism. In todays culture, I believe that the use of the "N" word is something that should not be done. One night while at university, a visitor from out of the country was visiting my school, BYU. He knew English, and used the "N" word quite frequently. My roommate and I told him that the word should not be used, but he ignored our advice. Because I thought it was hysterically incorrect for someone to use this word, I took a video of him saying the word and was laughing in the video due to his ignorance pertaining to such an important and sensitive issue. I decided to post the video to Instagram with a caption stating "Swiss people have no idea what its like to live in America", basically stating his ignorance. After a few minutes of having the video up on a private Instagram account which my closest friends followed, I deleted the video due to the fact that addressing such a sensitive issue no matter your stance is something that should not be done. Months later, the video popped up on twitter without the caption, and was made to be seen as something as racist as possible. No one understood the context, and even I, someone who hates racism, was seen as a racist. It made me sick. Because of this experience, I have gained an even deeper hate for any use of the word, no matter the context. I have realized that if we want to end racism, we need to stop using the words, symbols, and signs affiliated with it. Just like the confederate flag or statues of civil war "heroes", the "N" word is something with a history that is discriminatory towards the African American race. Because of this experience and the growing hate that I have towards the word and racism in general, I would like to start a pledge. A pledge that if one signs, they promise to never be an advocate for the word, no matter the circumstance. I want to make a change. We need to all love each other!

  • International Criminal Court Complaint Against Trump, Et Al
COMPLAINT TO THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT I, (YOUR NAME), a citizen of the United States of America, wish to submit a complaint to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for investigation of “crimes against humanity” against the following United States of America (USA) government officials, knowing that the USA is not a state party to the Rome Statute of the ICC. I file this complaint under the principle of “natural law” inherent in human behavior and human reasoning that governs all human conduct. DEFENDANTS: 1. DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America. 2. JEFFERSON BEAUREGARD SESSIONS, Attorney General of the United States of America 3. KIRSTJEN NIELSEN, Secretary of Homeland Security of the United States of America 4. ALEX M. AZAAR II, Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States of America I accuse the above named defendants with committing “crimes against humanity” in the execution of the “Zero Tolerance Policy” (ZTP) of 2018 separating migrant children from their parents after the latter cross the U.S.-Mexico border seeking asylum from organized criminal violence in their home countries. The families come mostly from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. I. The ZTP was adopted for the sole purpose to deter frightened mothers from bringing their children on the perilous journey to the U.S. border in search of safe harbor. II. The inhumane acts committed by the accused are against the peace and dignity of the United Sates of America and contrary to the safety and security of victims fleeing life-threatening situations at home. i. On or about May 2018, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions announced a “zero-tolerance” policy for illegal entry into the U.S. and directed U.S. attorneys offices in southwest states along the US-Mexico border to prosecute all cases flagged for illegal entry, “to the extent practicable.” ii. On or about June 15, 2018, Homeland Security officials confirmed that 1,995 children were separated from 1,940 adults at the U.S.-Mexico border from April 19 through May 31. HHS officials testified that they were unable to determine what happened with many children. iii. The Secretary of Health and Human Services has overseen the haphazard separation of children from their parents and poorly documented placement in over 100 facilities in 14 or more states around the country. iv. In June 2018, Donald J. Trump made the following inflammatory and false assertion about the families: 1. “Criminals are using children like a "Trojan horse" to get into America and that “people coming in were bringing "death and destruction". v. The head of the American Academy of Pediatrics called the policy "child abuse" and against "everything we stand for as pediatricians". vi. Pediatric and child trauma experts are sounding the alarm that separating migrant children from their parents at the US border can cause serious physical and psychological damage. Therefore, I ask that the ICC undertake an investigation into “crimes against humanity” and that the defendants respond to answer the charges I have made. I verify that the facts set forth in this complaint are true and correct to the best of my knowledge or information and belief. (YOUR NAME) Complainant United States of America

  • BasketBall Court at Marshbank Park!
To bring those who love to play basketball but don’t have a place to play to a place where they can form great friendships and connections they never thought they could, and to shine a light on an issue that is talked about but never acted upon; the fact of how more and more younger people are choosing video games and smartphones over going outside and exercising and having fun with friends to avoid human interaction. Exercise is a reason for academic success also, and it’s fading away in today’s youth. Something as small as a basketball court can change that.
