I want the world to stop being afraid and work towards building a safer environment for Victims of Domestic Violence. We shouldn't witness our mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers and friends become victims of abuse. Everyone wants and should to be loved, but “LOVE” should not be abuse. We need to uplift each other and become stronger advocates. In order to make a change we must come together to be effective. Special Counselor Robert Mueller was appointed by Asst. AG Rosenstein in accordance with the position created by US Congress. According to this legislation only Rosenstein - or an appropriate DOJ official can fire Mueller or effect the efforts by the Special Counselor to conduct the investigation he was appointed to do. President Trump has repeatedly made statements and considered action that would either fire or- restrict Mueller's investigation. In order to protect the integrity of both the office of Special Counsel and the accompanying investigation; a bipartisan measure that would in the event of any attempt to fire Mueller; set up a 10 day window to seek expedited Judicial Review of such firing by Republican Senators Tillis(NC) and Graham(SC) and Democratic Senators Coons(DE) and Booker(NJ) is being prepared for consideration by the Senate Judiciary Committee. This measure should be taken up by this Committee and then brought to the Senate Floor and voted in. The House of Representatives should work upon a similar measure and expedite its consideration by appropriate committee and then send to the floor of the House to be passed there.

The whole freshman population is upset by this teacher (and mrs. lynch but we'll leave her alone for now,, mrs. henry is great tho) and the kids targeted have started talking about dropping out of high school entirely.

I am a caretaker for a patient-advocate who has had ME for most of her life and who works from bed. Right now, her California ME/CFS specialist wants her to start IVIG and Rituxan, but because every physician in Washington State has been taught that ME is psychogenic in nature, she cannot get the help necessary to save her life. She is having severe autonomic problems and demyelination, but no one will serve her. This happens everywhere in the world and on average, I hear of about five to seven deaths a week from ME.

WE are creating this petition to take politics out of the use of the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center. UDPAC should not be a partisan institution. A State agency hosts five gun shows every year in the San Francisco Bay Area. The gun shows take place at the Cow Palace Arena and Event Center, which is owned and managed by a division of the California Department of Food and Agriculture. Each show features hundreds of tables where firearms are bought, sold, and traded, with free admission for children under 12. It is time for the Cow Palace to stop hosting gun shows. No State agency should promote and profit from the proliferation of firearms. The US has more firearms than people—millions more. Our horrific gun violence rates reflect those numbers. The US gun homicide rate is more than 25 times higher than that of any other high-income country. Guns kill nearly 100 Americans daily and injure twice as many more. More than 730 children and teens were killed or injured by guns between January 1st and the recent March for Our Lives. The Cow Palace’s local communities strongly oppose gun shows on public property. San Francisco and San Mateo counties, which border the Cow Palace, have passed unanimous resolutions specifically opposing gun shows at that venue. Six Bay Area counties—Alameda, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Sonoma—have passed laws banning possession of firearms, and therefore gun shows, on county-owned property. Those official policies have been amplified by the tens of thousands of Bay Area youth and adults who recently marched and rallied to protest gun violence and demand solutions. But because the Cow Palace is owned by the State, it is immune from local control. The Cow Palace Board of Directors decides what events are held there. The Board members are state officers and must consider factors beyond maximizing revenue (although even profit-centered businesses have recently changed their policies regarding firearm sales and partnering with the NRA). The Board should listen to the local communities and stop hosting gun shows. Sign this petition to tell the Cow Palace Board of Directors you don’t want a state agency to promote and profit from the sale of guns and ammunition. Anyone who knows me knows that my furbaby Mabel is the love of my life and my reason for living. My mother has decided to be a horrible person and hold her hostage from me regardless of offering money, pleading, and begging for her to live with me. She knows full well that I have hand-raised Mabel since her first few weeks, feeding her, burping her, stimulating her bowel movements, and staying up all night with her and loving and cherishing her. My mother claims that I am not able to properly take care of her because "I don't have a real job or place to live," but I work in an animal clinic where I get free procedures and vaccines done and good pay, and I do have a place to live and I will soon be moving closer to work with my friends. The only reason my mother wants to keep her is out of spite and complete selfishness and disregard for her own daughter's mental health and happiness. By getting a good amount of signatures on this petition, I am hoping that my mother comes to her senses and simply surrenders Mabel to her real mother, me, or if she refuses, then I will have this petition as legal evidence for a lawyer, and maybe even a courtroom judge, that it is a widespread belief that Mabel is mine and belongs with me so we can both be safe, healthy and happy.
