The intelligence community is waiting for President Trump's permission before they begin the process to protect and defend our election system. This is unconscionable. We the people demand that this protection process begin immediately without waiting for President Trump's permission.

Our community pool is within 600 feet of the tower, which is at the beginning of our development and where everyone gets a first impression when visiting, but more importantly when looking to purchase a home in our community. My home is very close to the tower site, which means I will see it every day when I go out the front door. I am concerned about the waves the tower puts off which can have health implications for my family. Health of my family, eyesore every day for me and my community, and decreased home values are why I am staring this petition.

We, the citizens of Las Cruces, NM support Las Cruces High School and the Baseball program with the naming of their baseball practice facility to “DAVE GRAHAM FIELD”. Coach Graham’s teaching and coaching career spans 5 decades. He begun in 1961 at Lynn Junior High School where he taught Physical Education and coached football, basketball, and track. In 1963 he moves to Las Cruces High School and in 1965 he became the Head Coach for Las Cruces High School where he would coach Bulldawg Baseball for 27 years.

It has been way too long of a wait just to be getting a new skate park due to the fact that skaters are destroying properties of others by skateboarding on them and sometimes even vandalizing people's properties and businesses. Northern Miami Beach area is in need of new skate parks. There are many skateboarders in Miami going long distances just to have a place to use their skateboards without being harassed by property owners. So skateboarders deserve and need new skate parks to skate in peace and focus on themselves.

Meadowdale is a neighborhood school; there are kids that been going there since pre-k. Meadowdale High School is a great school and for them to shut it down is not the way to go, so let us (the community) come as one and fight for our school “Where To Be A Lion Is Majestic”.

We believe the purchase of the land should benefit all residents of Albany County and provide as many economic opportunities as possible to sustainably manage the land. Allowing organized and designated recreational motorized use on a portion of the property will allow for additional future revenue and economic benefits to help provide for financial sustainability of the Pilot Hill Property and Albany County.

Puppies are being enslaved against their free will in many countries including the U.S. Our hope at the Adam Fugere Foundation is to outlaw the enslavery of puppies. Puppies have rights too. This has to be stopped.

The donation from the not-for-profit organization the NRA is viewed as a campaign donation and has no place in our government. Taxpayer revenue needs to be appropriated to adequately fund our Sheriff's Department. It is also insensitive to the 17 victims of gun violence to accept a donation from an organization that has actively worked against any meaningful gun control legislation, thus endangering the very citizens that you are charged to protect.

There are two Democratic County Mayor candidates: State Senate Minority Leader Lee Harris and Shelby County Sheriff employee Sidney Chism. Unless our candidates publicly debate issues that move our county forward, Republicans will dominate the conversation. That means we’ll be talking about cutting education funding, arming our teachers, and who knows what other right-wing, fringe policy positions get handed down from the Trump White House. Shelby County cannot address our most pervasive challenges without bringing Democratic policy positions to the forefront. We need to hear where our two candidates stand before the May 1st Democratic Primary. Join us in demanding a televised Democratic Shelby County Mayoral debate.
