Against the Repeal of Net NeutralityMy internet, and amendment rights were taken from me when the White House voted to repeal net neutrality. Our freedom is our top priority, and if net neutrality is taken away we are not a free people.166 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Lydia Yahn

Renovate Brookville Park Football Field Now!!!My son is one of approximately 200 young people who participate as a member of the Rosedale Jets Football Program. The turf field at Brookville Park is cushioned with rubber pellets. Because of normal wear and tear the pellets are no longer under the turf but are escaping and sitting on the surface of the turf. In the age of concussions, this is unacceptable. Our community park needs to be renovated to properly support and serve our young people. This program is helping to not only teach young people football and cheerleading but more importantly, it is a young person's mentoring program to help stem the tide of underperformance in education. As our young people play at different fields in other communities they are given the stark message that they are undeserving of the same quality of public recreation space as their contemporaries. This is unacceptable and we can change this by standing together.318 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Kareem R. Vessup

We need a FULL ban on fracking in the Delaware River BasinA ban in name only is wrong for the Delaware River Basin. The Delaware River is a treasure that belongs to the public, not to the highest bidder. Fracking has no place in the Delaware River watershed -- or anywhere else, for that matter. The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) -- an interstate agency made up of the governors from Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware, plus a federal representative -- is responsible for protecting the Delaware River Basin from dangerous actions like fracking. But the DRBC's proposed fracking regulations are a half-measure that won't fully protect the Delaware River Basin or the people who rely on it. The regulations leave the door open to both fracking waste and water withdrawals for fracking, endangering a drinking water source for millions of people. Only a full ban on fracking and fracking-related activities can keep our water safe. Tell the DRBC we need a comprehensive fracking ban, not a toothless half-measure.78 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Miranda Carter, Food & Water Watch

#FreeOsman, DACA dad in detention because of postal delay! #DreamActNow, not deportations.Osman Aroche Enriquez is just one of 12,000 Dreamers who have lost their DACA protections since September, when Trump decided to end the successful program. For Osman, the reason was a three-week postal delay (Trump gave Dreamers just one month to reapply for DACA status, and Osman's re-application papers spent a full three weeks in transit). According to Vox.com, Osman's DACA re-application arrived at the USCIS service center in Chicago on October 10 — three weeks after he mailed it. It was too late for ICE: his application was rejected. This is outrageous, and it has already gone too far. Fathers like Osman should not have to spend their son's birthday in jail, while Congress drags its feet on the Dream Act. ICE must #FreeOsman before his son's birthday on Saturday, and Congress must pass a clean #DreamActNow -- before leaving for the holidays. The U.S. should not detain and deport Dreamers who have grown up and built their lives here. Leaders in Congress have been delaying a vote on the Dream Act --despite a letter signed by 34 Republican Members of Congress calling on Speaker Ryan and Leader McConnell to act, they have said that they should wait until March to get this done. The truth is, every day Congress delays, 122 more DACA youth lose their status. Every day they wait, another family like Osman's is at risk of being torn apart, divided, and left in limbo. We are calling on ICE to free Osman, on Osman's elected leaders to speak up to free Osman, and for the leaders of both the House and Senate to pass the Dream Act before leaving for the holidays, so Dreamers won't have to spend the holidays in fear.81 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jen Smyers

Senator Al Franken Shouldn't Resign Unless Trump ResignsSenator Al Franken has been railroaded by the democratic party and should become a independent instead. A investigation should be completed and Al Franken should be given 'due process' like he deserves.17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Austin Songer

The FCC must delay its vote on net neutralityAs New York's Attorney General, my office has been investigating the flood of fake comments submitted to the FCC in the public comment period for net neutrality. We have now found at least 2 million fake comments that were likely submitted using the stolen identities of people across the country. Moving forward with this vote would make a mockery of our public comment process and reward those who perpetrated this fraud to advance their own hidden agenda.1,788 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Eric Schneiderman

Illinois House Resolution 677Dear Governor Rauner, I am writing in strong support of Illinois House Resolution 677. I believe it is of utmost importance that you fill the vacant positions on the University of Illinois Board of Trustees with appointments that will honor the diversity and reflect the gender makeup of our State. As I am sure you are well aware, the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois is responsible to the people of Illinois. The responsibility of the Board should include giving a voice to those of us who are underrepresented and under served. I recommend that the ideal way to do this is to have these underrepresented, diverse people in positions of decision-making power so that they can offer their perspective and the perspective of the people they represent. This is a prime opportunity for you, Governor Rauner, to recognize the diversity of our state on a public platform. Diverse appointments to the vacant positions on the University of Illinois Board of Trustees would reinforce in the State’s people that the state of Illinois is a State of acceptance and tolerance. At this time of national unrest, it is particularly important to take the necessary steps to reaffirm our State’s commitment to inclusion and diversity by way of the University of Illinois Board of Trustee members. Thank you in advance for your consideration of my view on this matter that I consider to be of utmost importance. Sincerely, A Concerned Illinois Resident145 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Ayana Bean-Rice
