Opioid Addiction in Utah | Daggett CountyOpioid misuse, addiction, overdose and death have become an epidemic in America. In fact, over the past 15 years, the nation's opioid epidemic has claimed more than 250,000 lives, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In the last year alone, nearly 30,000 Americans died from opioid overdoses. In Utah, state data from 2015 found that 24 Utahns per month — or nearly one person every day — died from an overdose. Between 2011 - 2016, Salt Lake County saw the greatest total number of overdose deaths, with 638. Utah County was second with 259, followed by 184 in Weber County, 133 in Davis County, 37 in Cache and 14 in Washington County. We are hoping you would join your neighboring counties with a resolution to take legal action against Big Pharma.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by CSRJ

Bring back NY State NYSERDA Solar Thermal RebatesIt is not possible to meet the NY 2030 Renewable Energy Goals unless all technologies are supported, including Solar Thermal. However, NY is leaning now towards supporting primarily just Heat Pump technology to meet the renewable thermal targets of the current program. NY must not incentivize just one of many green technologies in the attempt to meet the 2030 goals.19 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Glynn Bebee

Safety for all on the Cross Florida GreenwayThe State of Florida has recently completed paving of almost all of the Marjorie Harris Cross Florida Greenway, opening this green space to road cyclists and racers. For decades, the Greenway has been a natural green space shared by mountain bikes, hikers and equestrians, with little effect on the environment. Now there will be a huge influx of cyclists, including large groups, racers, and some family riders. However, the safety of the hikers and equestrians is at risk. Let's raise our voices and request signage to be put on the paved trails, requesting the cyclist use slow speed at all natural trail crossings and bridges and tunnels. IE: Slow: Pedestrian and Horse Crossing.309 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Mary Martinez

No Self DealingWe are having our income stolen by people like Corker who got a tax deal on our backs. NO more. NO legislator should benefit from legislation for a period of 4-7 years. Then we'll see if that's really "public interest" or not!14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by KC Bowma

Change the legal age for everything (drinking, smoking, running for president, etc.) to 18This petition is to give the basic adult rights to adults of all age groups, instead of certain rights starting at certain ages. I have had the dream of running for president for many years now, but since the minimum age to run is 35 I have had to push it off to 2040, but if the minimum age was the age was the age of an adult (18) than I would be able to run in the 2020 election.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by quantum

Save Graniteville Tree SwampGraniteville swamp is one of the last freshwater wetlands on Staten Island, but it is facing destruction to put yet another big retailer in our community. The swamp acts as a natural barrier to flooding and clears pollutants from the SI Expressway. We have more than enough stores to choose from in our neighborhood, and we don't want this project to ruin our air quality, lower our property, and put our lives and homes in danger! Please support us and sign our petition.466 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Saul Daniel Porter

PennDOT Needs to Treat & Clean RT 739 of Snow/Ice!Rt 739 is typically left in very unsafe and deadly conditions before, during, and after winter weather; up to and including blizzards, snow, snow showers, sleet, and freezing rain. The entirety of the thoroughfare is left completely untreated, and often times the only tracks cleared through the snow/slush are made only by the citizens traveling the roads. This results in having to inch along an icy, curvy route at 10 MPH, tripling the travel time on the road. This not only puts many people in danger but also causes motor vehicle accidents that may have otherwise been avoided. That, in turn, causes emergency personnel to be overrun with incidents and eventually higher taxes and costs to the citizens. We implore PennDOT to consider this and give this very hazardous issue some much-needed attention.52 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Irene

Tell UPS: Stop forcing drivers to work 70-hour weeks!UPS is forcing package drivers to work up to 70 hours a week this holiday season. Forcing exhausted drivers to work so much is unsafe to workers and the public. Rather than creating a holiday safety hazard, UPS should create more full-time jobs that pay a living wage.2,057 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Working Families Party

Save Midway BeachThe existence of Midway Beach in South Seaside Park NJ is being threatened by the ill considered and unnecessary dune project underway by the Army Corp of Engineers. Midway Beach is the only community on Barnegat Island that was not affected by Superstorm Sandy due to our treasured massive dunes. We don't need YOUR DUNES.576 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Sharon Desser
