And under the Trump tax scam, they will get a tax cut of about $80 BILLION on their offshore profits. Randy Hultgren (R IL 14) has taken money from the NRA and supports the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, which will allow anyone from any state with a concealed carry permit (or from a permitless state) to bring concealed weapons into Illinois, to the likely detriment of our citizens.

To protect the American workers who worked their whole lives and contributed part of their earnings so that they could live, survive and have a secure retirement- and now to have their benefits cut drastically. Many of my friends can barely make ends meet because of these cuts, but the government will bail out the Banks and Wallet Street but not hard-working American citizens-That is a disgrace and shameful!!

The SECURE Act would increase deportation agents, increase border patrol agents, make immigrants fear local police, increase racial profiling, force immigrants to quit their jobs, and undermine family immigration policies. These are policies that will undermine the Dream Act, and John Cornyn knows it. But this is what he wants Democrats to trade in a deal for the Dream Act. Cornyn has done this for YEARS. He says he supports immigrants and pro-immigrant policies, but when it comes to legislation he’s a hardliner through and through. John Cornyn needs to stop playing games with the lives of 800,000 Dreamers, including more than 124,000 in Texas alone. Tell him to support the bipartisan Dream Act instead of poison pill legislation!

Investigators with Direct Action Everywhere recently exposed horrific violence at a Costco egg farm in Colorado. At this “cage-free” farm, hens were packed into enclosures so tightly that they were often piled three high. The bodies of trampled birds were left to rot inside the farm. These eggs are sold at Costco as “certified humane.” During the investigation, activists rescued one hen named Bailey who was trapped inside the farm’s machinery. Costco is known as a progressive company, but there is nothing progressive about animal abuse and consumer fraud. Tell Costco to stop lying about the conditions that animals live in!

We wish to oppose the 200-400 block of N Czech Hall road from being considered for rezoning so an apartment complex can be built there. This will be a 3 floor complex that will have direct view into back yards of residents' homes. The proposed building does not fit in with the neighborhood or the community, which could negatively impact property values, and questions need to be answered and new plans presented prior to any rezoning.

All legislators should be held accountable for unacceptable behavior.
