Through popular referendum votes. So what is the response of the political establishment? LD 1726, which would cripple the referendum process by prohibiting the collection of signatures on election days. We are winning on issues, so now they are attempting to change the rules and put restrictions on our democracy. Please join me and say "NO" to LD 1726. Say "NO" to changing the process that has allowed us to make progress for all Mainers.

It's about tax justice. Double taxation on the same money is fundamentally wrong and unjust. Restore the full federal tax deductibility of all money paid for state and local taxes including property, sales, and state and local income taxes retroactive to January 1, 2018.

Living in Morgan County for a few months has brought to my attention the lack of responsibility by pet owners. The County is considered a farming community and allows less restrictive laws about keeping animals out in harsh weathered environments. By county law, the animal only needs a water source and 3 walls- even if the water is frozen solid and the "shelter" allows any rain/snow/hail/etc. in and traps the animal from getting the proper shelter or even traps them from getting out. Animals bring families together, make owners a livelihood, and bring comfort, if we are not taking care of them like they care for us, the community will crumble. Just think of how that can impact communities across the nation.

The Great Lakes are an important part of Michigan, providing water, food, and is a crucial part of the ecosystem for many plants and wildlife. Every year 22 million pounds of plastic end up in the Great Lakes, damaging our water ways and ecosystems, hurting animals, plants and people. We need to start doing our part to protect the lakes and everything they are apart of by cutting down the use of plastic in our state, which starts with the banning of single use plastic bags so that we can cut down the amount of plastic that ends up in the lakes.

I am an outraged and worried citizen who cannot understand why this current administration faced with Putin's cyber war attack on our nation, not just refuses to act against the attacker, but wants to befriend him!

WE AS AMERICAN ARE TIRED OF THE WRONGFUL CAPTIVATION OF THE ORCA WHALES IN SEAWORLD AND EVERY OTHER WATER PARK. THEY BELONG IN THE WILD PERIOD. ITS WRONG AND TILIKUM DESERVED BETTER.

We have ALL suffered from air and water pollution from fossil, chemical, nuclear industries bribing our (so-called) public officials. These, and other, predatory industries have looted tax money from most Americans, to cover externalized costs of operation.
