Congress will vote on a continuing resolution to fund the government on or by December 22nd. Many Democrats have said that they won't vote for a continuing resolution unless it includes a Clean Dream Act, e.g. no wall funding and no more funding to militarize the border. Rep. Peterson, a Democrat, says he supports DREAMers but has been ambivalent about what he means by that. This petition is intended to help him clarify his thinking. There are many DREAMers in District 7 and we all need Rep. Peterson to provide them with some hope.

Members of Congress use taxpayer money to settle (and cover up) sexual harassment claims. I'm personally affected both as a taxpayer and as someone who deserves a Congress free from sexual harassers.

Lack of maintenance and improvement of the public paths in Kensington is a safety issue, putting the residents of Kensington at risk. The paths are important escape routes in case of earthquake or wildfire and they can provide access to firefighters and first responders in case of an emergency. Community acquisition and ownership is an important next step towards maintaining and improving our paths for our own safety and enjoyment.

I am a student who lives in Axis apartments who does not have a car and it's a hassle to find a consistent ride to school. Not only for me but also many residents of The Axis Apartments. With the cold weather on the horizon it discourages students from attending class because we have to walk in such environments. I feel the residents of Axis have been neglected by both Madison County Transit and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

I've had enough! Sexual predators at all levels of our government but particularly in the very highest levels should be just as accountable for their actions. Many of us believed Anita Hill at the time but in "the old days" this kind of behavior was pushed under the table. We need to right the wrongs of the past, in addition to dealing with those of the present. Please join!

Food, medicine, and water treatments are urgently needed in Yemen. Even more catastrophic would be a U.S.-initiated or U.S.-provoked nuclear attack relating to North Korea.

McDonald's employs about 400,000 people in the US. Many of them do not vote because of work obligations. You claim to be a true American Company. You could prove this to the world by closing your stores in the US during voting on election day and allowing your workers to vote. McDonald's is in a unique position to move other businesses by this action and any short term profits lost would likely be made up in long term customer sentiment gains and the value that a healthy US democracy provides your business. It is time for businesses that truly care about America to prove it and this is a unique opportunity for McDonald's to lead the way. So defend Democracy and prove it to us!

We in the Northern Heights Subdivision believe that we are entitled to have our own individual mailboxes re-located to in front of each individual home like most communities in the area. We as a subdivision have contacted the Waynesville Post Office on numerous occasions about mail being placed in the wrong boxes and the theft of our mail. London Lane along with Lambert Lane have all mailboxes clustered together while other streets have their mailboxes located in front of their residences. We demand that the United States Postal Service in Waynesville MO allow us, the tax-paying homeowners, the right to to our own mailboxes in front of our homes, to ensure the correct delivery and reduction of theft.
