President Trump says he wants to broker the “ultimate deal,” a peace agreement between Israelis and Palestinians. But since taking office in January, he and his aides have failed to offer a framework for negotiations, have failed to assert positions that are vital for securing a peace deal, such as sternly opposing settlement construction, and have refused to endorse the only viable formula for a deal: the two-state solution. Not only has Trump failed to adopt or advance the two-state solution. He won’t even publicly say “two states.” Successive U.S. administrations, Republican and Democratic, have recognized that the two-state solution is the only feasible way to resolve the conflict. They therefore made the two-state solution America’s official policy – a key position guiding U.S. policy in the Middle East – for over 15 years. The two-state solution has become a matter of consensus in the region and internationally. The parties, under their own successive leaderships, have committed to this vision and negotiated to realize it. For the Trump Administration to eschew it is disastrous. Extremists on both sides have been trying to discredit the two-state vision since it was internationally adopted. Now they have a partner in the White House. President Trump, don’t play into the hands of the anti-peace extremists. We call on you to endorse the two-state solution. Say two states!

Farmers are destroying precious habitat for small woodland animals. They rip out fence lines that border crop fields. These fence lines are valuable habitats for rabbits, squirrels, bobwhite quail, and other various species of birds. Deer will follow fence lines when travelling from one woods to the next. If these animals do not have these fence lines they will decrease in numbers from lack of shelter and food. Not only do these fence lines shelter animals but they also shelter our own homes from the winter wind, dust, and other various forms of mother nature that could be damaging to our homes and persons. All just for a few more rows of crops! Most of these farmers do not own these lands but they lease them to farm them, and the landowners do not understand all the destruction these farmers are doing to the land and the animals.

Recently I was denied Snap assistance for my family of 5. My husband grosses $2000.00 biweekly, but his net income is only $800.00 biweekly. When DHS saw his Gross, we were instantly laughed at, then told we were denied. How can you use an amount of money that we don't even see to determine eligibility?
