The signers of this petition believe that the Chinese Communist Party should act in accordance with their National Human Rights Action Plan for 2012–2015, whereby Chinese citizens are assured that they will enjoy rights to freedom of speech, freedom of information, freedom of religion, and a fair trial, and that the rights of ethnic minorities will be protected.

Voting is a right. For Natives living on reservations in Montana, however, voting might mean traveling 100 miles or more. There are no courthouses on Native reservations, or satellite voting stations. Traveling to distant white population centers to vote is difficult for some Natives – and impossible for others.

Brother Dean is a menace to University of Arizona campus. Hopefully this petition can reveal the student body opinion on the question on every ones mind. Should Brother Dean be allowed on the University of Arizona property? As a senior graduating from the U of A it saddens me to think that future generations of Wildcats may have to endure his messages of hate. He does not exercise the right to free speech he abuses it, spewing out messages of how women deserve rape, or gays deserve hell. Brother Dean does not bring any benefits to the school nor does he contribute to building of a positive environment for development and higher learning. He should be brought up on disciplinary charges for his blatant disregard for the University's own code of conduct. To site statute 21, " Engaging in discriminatory activities, including harassment and retaliation, as prohibited by applicable law or university policy. " He violates this rule every time he takes to the mall to speak. I know that I am fed up with his behavior and would like to see a campus free of Brother Dean. To be clear my message is not speaking to infringe upon his right to speech or freedom of religious practices. I am only saying that what he is doing has no place on a college campus.

Jim Coughlan, the Dutchess County controller and a candidate for state Senate, told the black MSNBC news anchor on Twitter, ‘Keep your stinking paws off my kid, you damned dirty ape.’ The tweet was in response to remarks Harris-Perry made about child-rearing. As a non-profit, we use our website to direct almost all our activities, from joining and renewing members to competitions, to creating convention schedules and getting Continuing Professional Education credits. We would have to triple or quadruple our staff if we could not do these things online. As a parent of a teen who is doing some of his coursework online to get dual high school and college credit, the open Internet is vital.

As founder of a number of web startups, I assure you that charging for "fast lane" access will place startups at a disadvantage, squashing innovation and discouraging small business. In addition, existing small business will be disincentivized from building or maintaining their websites severely curtailing the web development, SEO, and SEM industries. With no websites, small business will not buy PPC advertising and the online advertising industry will suffer as well. This is a very bad idea.

I use the Internet daily to do research. If I didn't have options to go to small sites it would impact me greatly.

From my morning news to kids homework and grade checking to communicating with their teachers; to coordinating soccer, piano and swim lessons; to shopping for grocery and other family needs from home to avoid traffic and lines and to save gas; to providing instant updates to my neighbors about safety issues and to communicate with my mayor's office about local issues - all of these will be impacted if I have to start paying to perform my daily functions. Pay-to-play Internet makes it harder for startups to start. It adds extra overhead to businesses. It is bad for the general public because it slows the flow of information.

I communicate with business associates in the US and worldwide via Internet connections to include Skype and GotoMeeting. Without it, some connections would not be possible and costs would be prohibitive.

I am currently in touch through the internet with communities such as Palo Alto, CA, who are making great strides to go carbon free in their energy use. Here in Boone, North Carolina, we are soon to launch on a campaign to drastically reduce our Town's carbon footprint and in so doing do our part to keep ours a livable world.
