    Texas lawmakers (Pres. Johnson) made acted with courage at an otherwise very unjust time in our history. The Supreme court recently removed some of the structure of the 1965 Act. Although civil rights may be seen as a partisan Democratic issue, famous Republicans have demonstrated the courage to fight such insideous injustice as creating barriers to the right to vote. Please be courageous and co-sponsor the 2014 Amendment.

  • Suppressing voters' rights is wrong!
    The right to vote is sacred. Voter suppression was rampant in 2012, nationwide, and particularly in Ohio. There is no logical or moral reason not to support this amendment, unless a congressman wants to minimize the number of voters from a particular voting bloc. Call or email Rep. Brad Wenstrup and ask him to co-sponsor this amendment.
