Tucker Carlson has built his career on his fear-mongering, racist and conservative views. Republicans in Congress and in the media have used "great replacement theory"—an extremist ideology which asserts that white people are being driven out and replaced by non-white people in Western societies. On Saturday, May 14, 2022, a white supremacist gunman opened fire at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, murdering ten people and injuring three others others—11 of the 13 people shot were Black. The gunman shared the same logic that Carlson does: that non-white people are an inherent threat to white people. And it's not new from him either. Only three days after the a white supremacist mass shooter in El Paso killed 22 people, Tucker Carlson went primetime on Fox News and declared that white supremacy is a hoax. Conservatives can defend him all they want, but we can see the truth. We can't let Tucker have a platform built on misinformation and disinformation that is getting people murdered. Tucker Carlson and his defenders are complicit in giving voice to these white supremacist and racist ideals. Tucker needs to be taken off the air, and his advertisers need to stop funding hate. Especially now that he is purposefully misinforming Fox News viewers about the rise of white supremacy and relying on xenophobic ideals that will only result in more assault and aggression from white nationalists across the country. I have family members who are Fox News viewers and they are constantly being misinformed. It ends now.

LGBTQ+ people, people of color and women are core customers of Brown-Forman. Yet their leadership has said it's going to abandon DEI goals and plans for employees AND suppliers, cut diversity training and more. They won't even participate in a SURVEY about equality their workplace. In other words, they want to take our money and give nothing back. Our communities must stop drinking from this company until its CEO Lawson Whiting and Chair resigns and this company brings back its DEI efforts.

The Austin branch of this company has gone downhill tremendously and we need a change. Officers are treated so poorly regardless of their hard work and dedication, and that is unacceptable. We all have a voice and we Need to use it!

This means a lot to this community. We are in a fishing community and it’s very beneficial to the younger generations as we have made it a priority to make sure a kid can always fish.

We must raise our voices and protect a system that unequivocally values life over financial gain. By removing a legal requirement that has been in place for nearly forty years, which mandates only nonprofits with experience in this field can bid on contracts to manage the system, the door is opened for profit-seeking entities to exploit the vulnerable and turn the selfless and altruistic gifts of donor heroes into transactional commodities. We refuse to compromise the profound impact of organ donation by placing financial gain above human well-being. This petition invites all who have been touched by the miraculous act of organ donation – including transplant patients and waiting candidates, organ donor family members, caregivers, and concerned citizens – to have our voices heard and demand the federal government acts responsibly. Our petition does not represent any particular organizations, associations or other groups within or outside of the organ donation and transplant system, nor are we doing this in the interest of any such groups. We are patients and donor families, parents and friends, and everyday men and women who in one way or another have been touched by the noble gift of organ donation and the lifesaving surgeries it enables. We also do not oppose any true efforts to improve the organ donation and transplant system. However, we oppose seeing those efforts subverted to the benefit of for-profit companies, which would jeopardize human lives. Let us stand united in protecting the lives of patients, honoring the generous gift of organ donation, and safeguarding the nonprofit status of our organ donation and transplant system.
