Despite having the opportunity to fight bigotry and violence at its recent Annual General Meeting, Mastercard has refused to stop working with far right and hate groups like the League of the South, National Policy Institute, Proud Boys, Stormfront, VDare, Identity Evropa, Occidental Dissent, and Radix Journal. These days starting a white supremacist or hate group is as easy as launching any online business. The tech platforms that have enabled so many of us to open up websites and begin selling products and services allow hate groups and extremists to thrive equally within the same ecosystem. These groups have managed to co-opt social media, ecommerce and fintech platforms to financially support criminal activities, including violence and harassment. From donation platforms to online stores, major tech companies are operating at a level of scale that they do not know who their customers are before they grant them access to Mastercard payments. It’s time for Mastercard to face the fact that until they investigate, the company will not know the scope of abuse taking place in their network.

Fraudulent property posts on Craigslist effect homeowners, renters and buyers looking for new homes, real estate agents, and sometimes even neighbors or other businesses. Fraudulent posts take a photo and some information from a real property and advertise them as something they are not. Example: A home that is for sale is being advertised on craigslist for rent. When this add is responded to people are being told to drive over to the property and knock on the door. How does this affect each party? HOMEOWNERS: This causes the homeowner to be uncomfortable in their own home not knowing if they should open the door. The homeowner also now has to deal with being harassed by people in their driveways and knocking on their door at any time of day/night. RENTERS/BUYERS: Instead of finding real information, these people looking for a new place to live are mislead - are influenced to drive around wasting their time and money. Renters/buyers are now left with an uncomfortable feeling after knocking on a door that they were not meant to. This puts renters/buyers in an awkward situation at the door as well as having their time wasted and their search for a new home prolonged. REAL ESTATE AGENTS: This affects agents in many ways, they now have to spend ample amounts of time trying to have fraudulent posts removed. They need to make their clients aware that people may knock on their door which can be an awkward situation and could potentially even lose them their listing costing them time and money. Agents need to change their advertising and sometimes, even spend more time and money creating new advertisements so that the renters/buyers who were unknowingly steered in the wrong direction do not knock on the homeowners' doors. OTHER BUSINESSES/NEIGHBORS: This can affect other businesses/neighbors as well. Many of the responses from these fraudulent posts tell the unsuspecting renters/buyers to park at a neighbors house or a business next door. This now interferes with the other business/neighbors property, they now have to deal with unknowing loitering. OTHER EFFECTS: This can also be a matter of personal safety for renters/buyers looking for a new property. Some vacant homes for sale can be posted on craigslist for rent. The response from this fraudulent post can sometimes be telling the renter/buyer to show up to the property, that the property is unlocked or telling them where to find a key. This can be very dangerous to renters/buyers as they can show up to a vacant property and can be harmed or kidnapped (this is a theory as well have heard stories, we have no direct evidence of this example). Please help to remove all PROPERTY posts from craigslist for the safety, well being, and peace of mind for all parties who are involved.

The dating app, Match.com, is repping a rainbow flag for LGBTQ pride month on LinkedIn. However, their product does not reflect all genders in the gender selections. Let’s request more gender selections on Match.com.

I am from the heart of tornado alley, from a town where many cannot afford the cost of a cable subscription. The ability to access local news channels on Hulu Live from any device would mean people could access live weather coverage wherever they were, including from underground storm shelters. It would save lives.

The reason for starting this petition is to stop Facebook from banning accounts because of their names. I find it most suitable to be given a warning or banning someone for posting inappropriate content or harassing other people. This would only work if that person was being reported too many times. Facebook is for fun, but the banning of accounts is making it harder for a lot of people to stay on this app. If the banning continues, people will switch to other apps that are in competition such as Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat.

I started this petition because Facebook was a willing channel for political misinformation campaigns traced back to the Russian Government that help undermine the 2016 US Presidential Election, and they are continuing with this manipulated video of Nancy Pelosi. Tell Facebook to stop hurting our country and take political misinformation off its site.

Our families deserve to be protected. We should not back down even though the federal government has stolen our rights to protest EMR in our communities. All will be affected, especially babies and small children. This is our time to speak up!

I am starting this petition because I believe that Andrew Yang's ideas are important, and I have recently been effected by company layoffs, caused by the variables previously mentioned.

I think this woman was unfairly fired. If a man would have said what she said, nothing would have been done about it. I think it was a biased and unfair decision to fire her. Mary has been in service to Baltimore viewers for 15 years and has never done anything wrong.

We, the people of Priest Lake, have cellular service so inadequate as to render phone calls unreliable from April through October, and virtually unusable data. People have been unable to call 911, which poses a risk to both residents and tourists. We are resolved that this situation needs to be rectified by placing a second cell tower in the area in order to provide bandwidth sufficient to meet the needs of Verizon customers and provide the service we pay for.

Currently, the majority of neighborhoods within the town of Brookhaven do not have an option of choosing gas for heating/cooking/cooling our homes due to the lack of pipes laid underground. The cost of both options (gas or oil) is rising, however, the cost to heat/cook/cook in our homes is by far more expensive with oil as opposed to gas. Why continue to worry about running out of oil in the middle of a blizzard when having your home heated by National Grid is more stable?
