Greed is rotting our democracy from the inside. Corporations are now too big to fail, they write our laws, and they and the wealthy own the political process. Citizens United is more of a threat to our country than any standing army or criminal President ever will be.

My family is set to be evicted on December 14, 2018. The judgement, the foreclosure, the sheriff sale and the eviction were all granted based on Fraud and Forgery being allowed to be committed by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the courtrooms of Burlington County Judges Kathy Fiamingo and Judge Paula Dow. Judge Dow issued an order for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage to modify the Pick-a-Payment mortgage we had, and Wells Fargo never did. But then Judge Dow ruled against us when we fought this in court and then removed herself from our case. We have all the proof of Wells Fargo and this illegal mortgage, if we can be heard on this matter FAIRLY. People are being foreclosed on ILLEGALLY, as we were. This must be stopped. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage continues to violate their court order to stop doing this. Where is the Justice.

Cable companies are petitioning the FCC to deduct the cost of in-kind services from the money they pay to community stations. This could mean the end of this vital grass root system of communication which allows citizens to view local city council meetings and election debates. The law needs to stand as it is and thus protect the freedom of speech for our local communities.

We facilitate the erosion of our democracy with every dollar we give to companies that do not care about protecting democracy. Walgreens is paying off Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin $1,000 and $6,000 at a time for corporate tax breaks. This is while Republicans legislators are undermining democracy by power grabbing before a Democratic governor and attorney general step in. Wisconsin is not a corporate prize to win. The rise of corporate self interest has been meteoric. We must act, so let’s get going. Stop buying from Walgreens and tell them to stop helping Republicans undermine American democracy .

Her show reboot has spotlighted issues from the past (single mothers/Dan Quayle) to the present (the horrible words and tweets coming from OUR White House in the Trump era. The show also presses on issues important to a most diverse audience: from LGBTQ, to strong women leaders, charity; and fighting the good fight. We need her, at least, through 2020, to help the Resistance through its battles by supplying us with laughter, sadness, anger; but most importantly, issues close to our hearts and minds.
