    Top military brass enjoy outlandish free services, entertainment, travel and other perks. No Secretary of Defense has proven powerful enough to cut them, including the officers' clubs. Unlike social and entitlement cuts, there is little recessionary impact from eliminating them.

  • Lower property tax in NJ and give us back our tax rebate.
    NJ has the highest property tax in the country, and it is affecting families across the state including myself. Plus since governor Christie came to power the people of NJ making less than $250,000 a year have not received their tax rebate back on top of paying those high property tax which is also affecting middle and working class families in NJ.

  • Save Our Post Office - Gary, IN
    The U.S. Postal Service plans to close the mail processing plant located @ 1499 Martin Luther King Drive, Gary, IN in Feb. 2013. The mail from the Gary plant will be processed in South Suburban, IL. The Gary plant will lose approx. 200 jobs. Not only will we be losing jobs, the mail is going to be delayed. First class mail will never be the same. Please help us to stop this disaster from happening.

  • Every one should have a driver license
    There is people who used to have a driver's license but now they are driving without because someone with racist ideas past this law in california. People need to drive to go to work, take their children to school and have to work at night time. It is not safe not to give a license to working people. There is no record of them if they don't have a license. I have been affected by this law. When people do not have a lincense they can be responsible when accident happen.

    Many middle class families depend on the mortgage deduction (and property tax deduction) in order to afford the home they own. The healthcare deduction above a percentage of income saves many famlies from bankruptcy. The purpose of the The Alternative Minimum Tax was to prevent millionaires from having enough deductions to avoid paying income taxes. It should not be applied to struggling middle class families. Further, the unexpected consequence might be a collapse of the Real Estate Market.
