• ASCAP Change of Rules
ASCAP lobbied Congress to change copyright laws for music performance from 50 years to 75 years. Many Musicians cannot work because ASCAP is charging venues too much money for licensing fees and as a result, they are killing live music. Changing the law would put more musicians back to work in this country.

  • Stop outsourcing manufacturing jobs.
First, manufacturing has been driven offshore due to cost issues. second; there are only 3 things that create the first nickel for the rest of the US jobs to feed off of; being, the farmer plants and harvests food, the manufacturer that created and produced a product, and resource drillers or diggers that keep the cars going and reduce our dependence on someone else. Manufacturing losses are caused by overtaxation of the corporations, rigid rules that require a multitude of people to keep up with and document, and no or little charge for other countries without those issues to import goods to America.

  • Reinstate Tax Deduction for Credit Card Interest
Congress needs to reinstate the tax deduction for credit card interest as the banks should be counting this as income and paying taxes on this. Like interest on a home mortgage, this cost should be deductible from income on the tax return. It used to be a deduction, and now more than ever the 99% need tax relief as they are having more and more to live on their credit cards to make ends meet.

  • Fair, Accountable, Trade, Tax and Subsidies
Our trade policies promote companies to invest over seas not in the US. Our goal is to impose appropriate taxes and tariffs and do away with government hand outs to companies that have major operations outside of the United states.

  • Home Loan Modification Process
I am in jeopardy of losing my home! Built by Lupoli Construction and Real Estate, Inc. with Donnie Moses, father of my daughters in the year 1987. The scary part is "where will I go?" CitiMortgage, Inc. has received 4 applications, On Track Financial and HAMP has had 1 in the past three years. I have thus far been turned down and I am very SCARED! It is now "under review" with "under righters" (again).

  • BUY NO GAS DAY
The gas companies are steadily raising gas prices on the consumers and we are tired of it. The trickle down effect is costing everyone in all aspects of consumer purchases. We need to send a message to these gas giants that we are tired of this and want and need and demand a break...We as the consumer have a chance to make the difference by not purchasing gas at any gas station across the country on a certain day and plan to continue this boycott until we get this break in gas prices. The next BUY NO GAS DAY is April 30, 2012. Pass this information on.

  • Easy tax fix
A middle class working couple do not have many tax deductions. Return to the middle class the deductions they had before Ronald Reagan.....all interest on credit cards was deductible, all interest paid on large appliances and cars was deductible, all interest on department store credit cards was deductible. These deductions would provide an even playing field.....the credit card companies still get paid, but the payer gets a tax deduction. Middle class families, and young singles who purchase a car out of necessity would get the interest paid as a tax deduction. This is a win-win proposal that would help the middle class imensely.

  • Stop Employers from Discriminating When Employees Disclose Disability
American's with Disabilities Act provides protection for employees with disabilities prior to obtaining employment, but what about those who do not learn of their disability or are not diagnosed until years later? This could happen to anyone of you. All across America employers are forcing resignations, firing and demoting highly qualified individuals in fear that their disability will interfere with the very same job they were once hired & deemed qualified to do. Why should you take a stand? By doing so you are not only saving tax payer dollars and replenishing the constantly depleting social security funds available to Americans who are eligible for retirement; but also giving someone a chance at having their livelihood back. Imagine being in a position where you feel needed as a nurse, teacher, daycare worker or some other profession; to wake up and have that all taken away. In “Right to Work” States, like Florida, this is even more appalling that employers don’t have to give reason for their dismissal and makes the issue even more prevalent. Staying home collecting a 'check' should not be a way of life for those that are willing & able to continue their duties with accommodations. Encourage employers to make accommodations for employees with tenure.
