The North Coast Deserves a Functional Junior CollegeThe North Coast Community needs a fully funded, fully functional 2 year accredited junior college to serve the needs of local citizens to have access to public education at relatively low cost. Graduating high school seniors from Fort Bragg and Mendocino Unified School Districts deserve the option of a proper junior college path to a 4 year education and beyond. Our community is somewhat isolated and needs this fully functional and fully funded junior college.2,064 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Jessie VanSant

AMERICAN EDUCATIONAL SERVICES (AES) - GIVE THE UNEMPLOYED A BREAKI have been unemployed for one year now and have contacted the American Education Services for a deferment or Forbearance on my student loan but to no avail. I have made payments to the point that i am able to under the circumstance and have run out of money. My unemployment benefit is enough to put a roof over my head not to mention paying for any other thing, I believe student loan companies should work with people based on their situation especially if they never missed a payment before now.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Daisy Adele

Fact!Im one of the student have been going to Stockton School for Adults. Which this adult education will be no longer available for me to attend to. Which I don't want to attend to community colleges because you have to pay to get your classes that you want to attend to. Also include, communtiy college will want student first then adult education students will be the last one to get in, which it is complicated. Because most of them students will get there classes and half of them have to go somewhere else. This also include, SAT and also California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) and etc. will not be free no more. I want the government to stop cutting school funds!2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mee

Universal Preschool for Georgia's ChildrenCurrently, public preschool in Georgia is on a lottery system, parents of four-year-old's sign up and hope their child gets accepted to their local preschool class. If the students do not get picked, parents have no choice but to enroll them in costly private programs or wait until their child can start kindergarten. Preschool is so very developmentally beneficial to children, children with the luxury of attending preschool will enter kindergarten worlds ahead of children who have not had that luxury. Universal preschool will ensure that all students have this benefit and enter kindergarten on a level playing field.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Melissa Rae Friel

Bilingual EducationLearning a foriegn language such as French in highschool for 1-2 years is not enought to grasp the language and help our future as promised. It is a necessary prerequisite for a working political, economic, and social community such as ourselves in the United States. Bilingual education is important to our present and future generations because it will better qualify our people for the challenges of tomorrow. Bilingual education should be considered to start in primary school. Reform our education!13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sonia Garcia Vega
