• Gov Christie: Join the states' Coalition for Paris Climate Agreement.
New Jersey should join California, Washington, and New York in the Climate Alliance and commit to the Paris Agreement. New Jersey is already heavily impacted by Climate change, with rising temperatures, lower air quality, and beach erosion and damage from strong storms and hurricanes. Our state should be at the forefront, continuing to lead the country in promoting clean energy, environmental protection practices and investing in new jobs. Let's demand a sustainable future for us and our children. Source: http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory/california-york-washington-unite-back-climate-pact-47778881

  • Gov: Otter: Join with other states supporting the Paris Climate Agreement
Last week, Donald Trump recklessly announced that he will pull the United States out of the Paris Climate Agreement, which has been signed by 195 countries in an effort to stop catastrophic climate change, which is accelerated by carbon pollution. In response, governors from California, New York, and Washington launched a coalition committed to the carbon reduction efforts called for under the Paris Agreement, which has now been joined by a total of 12 states and Puerto Rico. Urge Gov. Otter to enlist Idaho in this new coalition and do everything possible to fight climate change.

Since facts matter we should get them straight. First, the world's climate has been altered by humans and 97% of scientific studies back that up. Second, coal is more expensive than solar (which is the cheapest energy source on the planet) and wind power, and it will die on its own even without solar and wind. Third, more people are employed in clean energy than the coal industry by a wide margin. Fourth, since clean energy is becoming more and more accessible and inexpensive, we don't need to depend so much on fossil fuels for our energy. Another fact that gets buried in all the "fake news" reporting about climate is that there is only limited amount of fossil fuels and even if we could dig them all up, someday we will run out. Do not follow Mr. Trump into this abyss of thoughtlessness and instead listening to the facts. I am concerned for our planet's and our children's future. There are more extreme weather events throughout the world and that is due to the increase in the earth's temperature. The desert areas of the world are expanding and soon the people living in those areas will move where the water is putting more and more of a strain on the water supplies in those areas. I could go on and on but I think this gets the point across.

  • Urge Gov. Abott to Enlist Texas in fight against Climate Change!
I'm a registered Republican, and father of a toddler. I am living the American Dream, but I know my children and grandchildren will not live the same dream if we don't all stand up and demand real leadership as it pertains to climate change. This is a bi-partisan issue! The future generations are counting on us!

  • I support Colorado joining the US Climate Alliance
It's time we establish our state's rights in the fight to reduce carbon emissions at our state's power plants, reduce methane emissions, and boycott OPEC and the American Oil and Gas Industry by NOT driving gas and diesel passenger cars on Sundays. We also recommend that Coloradians boycott all fuel transported via the Keystone Pipeline and increase the State of Colorado incentives for Plugin Hybrid Vehicles and Electric Vehicles
