Congress passed the fewest number of bills in the history of the Congress in 2012. And their popularity amongst the American people is below 10%. And to cap it off, another die-hard dysfunctional display of childishness and immaturity over the fiscall cliff. No one in Congress cares about America; they only care about their political career. Therefore, in order to get their attention, we need some major pay and benefit changes.

RID WASHINGTON OF WASTE.

The entire country has been affected by their individual lack of consideration and empathy by their actions. I understand that a great many of them are millionaires already. Yet they continue to pay "chicken" with people' lives. GIVE THEM NO INCREASE - they haven's earned it!

The 1.5% pay raise given to Congress is a travesty. Members of Congress barely work half a week. Due to their entrenched ideological positions and intranigence, they accomplish nearly nothing for the nation. They do not deserve an increase in salaries.

The last bastion of racism that is accepted is the Confederate Flag. The flag still flies in front of the South Carolina Capitol Building, and it must be taken down.

Members of the United States Congress have utterly failed to do their job in protecting the welfare of this country. Their inability to resolve differences and be effective is shameful. They deserve a pay cut.

We need to enact term limits for everyone in Congress so we can make progress in our country. Having members without term limits hinders our growth and progress for all of the citizens of the United States of America,

U.S Congress should suffer a $20,00 penalty forany future 'over the cliff' type stand still action. Filibusters MUST MEET ORIGINAL RULES. A physical body must stand on floor, speaking, dancing, whatever; but must BE THERE!

The President has approved raises for Congress. We should all worry when people who have done virtually nothing, believe they deserve more tax payer money, while the remain indecisive. We need to take a stand and say this isn't right, and that the people of America won't allow it.

Appointed Florida Public Service Commissioners have the authority to raise utility rates with complete autonomy. The citizens of Florida have to sit back and pay more money when are utility rates are raised. The only way the citizens of Florida would have a direct way to stop the appointed Florida Public Service Commissioners from raising our utility rates with complete autonomy is to elect the Florida Public Service Commissioners

All Americans would be affected by Congress voting themselves pay raises.

It was recently disclosed by the news media that our federal government and bank regulator, the OCC, have been involved in secret negotiations with the mega-banks that would allow them to escape liability for their toxic mortgage backed securities that wiped out trillions of dollars of home equity and put millions of people out of work. The Banks cheated buyers with toxic loans, decimated our economy by wiping out millions of jobs, cheated the bailout by not lending, cheated owners by breaking loan mod rules, cheated our legal system with illegal foreclosure paperwork, and are now trying to escape liability by buying off the OCC. Do NOT let the Banks off the hook this easily. They owe millions of US citizens their jobs back and the opportunity to own a home again.
