• Federal oversight of voter regulations
I am outraged that Republican-dominated state governments have rammed through legislation designed to disenfranchise voters. I want all voting regulations to be federally controlled and taken away from the states. Local facism is not to be tolerated under the myth that states rights are to be treated as holy.

  • Pledge to vote for centrist politicians.
Citizen's United has tilted the playing fields of politics to both extremes. Unregulated money poisons our politics and allows special interests to shape public opinion. Our country moves forward through compromise and respectful dialogue from a diversity of people listening to each other and reaching consensus.

  • National Term Limits
Our Founding Fathers probably did not intend for our national legislatures to consist of "professional polititions" If Congressmen were restricted to 4 terms of two years, and if Senators were restricted to 2 terms of six years, they would be less swayed by lobbyists and special interests and would not need to spend as much time and energy getting re-elected.

  • Tell Joe Walsh to stop the Insults
Congressman Joe Walsh has a long history of using condescending names and insults toward people whom he disagrees with politically. He has also patronizingly called me “my dear,” disparaged my military service, referred to a female TV host as “kiddo,” claimed that African Americans are “dependent upon government” and that “Jesse Jackson would be out of work if they weren’t,” and said that veterans who disagree with him “don’t understand this country.” It’s bad enough that Walsh constantly refuses common-sense compromises on legislation. But not treating political opponents with even a minimum level of civility? That’s unacceptable. It can be easy to tune out Walsh’s offensive comments since, frankly, there are just so many of them. But we have a responsibility to hold him accountable every time.

  • limit political spending on campaigns
With the presidential campaign in full swing it's obvious how wasteful our election process is. Close to 200million raised and spent in one month on the presidential campaign. The other races are also spending vast amounts of money.. While the poor and middle class in our country cant find a job, are loosing their life savings and homes. Lets funnel that money back into the communities who need it. Hopefully this will create a platform for more transparent elections. Campaign reform is Essential and the only way to heal our country and we must eliminate all lobbyist in Washington. The owners or management of corporations/unions/any one with a lobbyist will be required to do their own bidding.

  • Hourly Pay For Congress
I think congress should be on an hourly rate. I don't like that my tax dollar is being spent on people that are not earning it. This has been the worse "do nothing congress" in history. Have them punch a time clock, no work, no pay. We will save a lot of money or we will have a congress doing the work that we sent them there to do.

  • Criminalize Conservatism
Conservatism has been masquerading under the label of a political ideology, but it is in reality a vast criminal organization that has caused irreparable harm to America and the world. Besides Conservatism's legislative history that has caused untold deaths and misery to the poor and middle class, its underlying agenda, to return our democratic republic to a feudalistic culture, with the wealthy at its head and the 99 percent majority at the bottom, can no longer stand. As noted on http://www.crimnalizeconservatism.com, freedom of speech issues and the institution of our two-party system do not apply to Conservative criminality, and Conservative leaders in front groups such as the Republican Party should be marginalized as soon as possible before they completely take over our government.

  • Politicians paycut from president on down
Hello I feel with the way America needs to save money that politicians should have a huge decrease in their pay and benefits. Why should our soliders take pay cuts in economic downturn when it should be the president and all the top government officials that should take a pay cut
