Public Funded ElectionsI am outraged, disgusted and angered by the amount of money spent on elections, at every level, money that could be used to solve real problems, like homelessness, education, etc. Since I had to choose one state, I am hoping that voters in the other states will start their own petitions to put an end to money in politics and time spent on fundraising instead of actually working on issues.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ruxandra-Ana Iacob

I demand that President Obama release. His college transcripts!Due to the fact that President Obama is in effect reapplying for the job of President, and that he declared that his administration would be the most transparent in history. I believe that as his employer, the people of The United States have the right to examine his college performance.17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tim Parent

Absolute Federal Term LimitWe have a paralyzed government full of career politicians more interested in fund raisers from lobbyists and rich friends than in their constituents. Their bickering has given Congress the lowest approval rating in history. I'm calling for a Constitutional Amendment for an absolute term limit for all federal offices. There will be no reelection "war chests" nor seniority over competency in committee position appointments. They'll all have exactly ONE chance to make a real difference.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Martha Chase

Minimum wage for Congress!I received a post on Facebook that said "Pay congress minimum wage and see how quick things change". Sounds like a good idea and it will save some tax payer money. More than half of them are millionaires anyway and have the best health benefits and retirement package of any public sector employee.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert Kelley

End Congressional FavoritismTo urge a Constitutional Amendment preventing Congress from passing laws to which it makes itself or its members exempt. To encourage greater responsibility for the consequences of legislation which either does not impact them and/or gives them privileges not provided to those who elect them to office.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paul W Sharkey

Congress Term LimitsAll congress members should have one 6 year term. One third of the congressmen would be elected every two years. They would go back to their home states with NO RETIREMENT AND NO MEDICAL INSURANCE when their 6 year term is over. When they reach retirement age, just like all of the rest of us , they would be eligible for Social Security and Medicare just like all the rest of us.11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert E. Fix CongressI'm concern congress has lost touch with reality and only do what benefits themselves and not the majority of Americans causing the downward spiral of the american way of life. I'm calling on congress to start representing the majority of Americans by changing the benefits they have from our government to what the benefits are of the 99%, its called the Congressional Reform Act of 2012 by Warren Buffet.18 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mark Krey

Tell Congress To Continue Funding The United States Post ServiceNo other government entity is required to pay insurance and retirement services 75 years in advance. It's ludicrous to pay for retirement and other perks for workers who aren't even born yet. This regulation is archaic and given Congressional arguments that we must cut funding, the most sensible place to start is by allowing the USPS to only fund those services for a 2-3 year period, with bi-annual review for adjustment. Most of us are well-aware this is your attempt to dismantle an excellent agency that operates with the highest standards of integrity, unlike the current Congress. I'm respectfully requesting you to maintain our United States (government-run) Postal Service and forget the idea of privatizing it in effort to make the private sector create high profit while paying the workers the least under your 'Right To Work' philosophy.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nina Craig
