Save one person, one vote. Get the money out.I am concerned about "superpacs:" money. Can there be a way to take this back to the Supreme Court? Can the people do something? Already, the wealthy were able to buy the election of the person of their choice. WE ALL KNOW THIS IS NOT FAIR. The media must be made to cooperate or be faced with collusion in defiance of the constitution.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sharon

Scott Walker: Explain Whether Or Not You Lied To CongressU.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings asked Walker to reply by June 1st to the following: (1) If he disputes that he met with Diane Hendricks, one of his top donors, on January 18, 2011. (2) If he disputes that, in response to a question from Ms. Hendricks about whether Wisconsin could become “a completely red state,” he responded “Oh, yeah,” and that his “first step” as Governor would be to “deal with collective bargaining for all public employee unions” in order to “divide and conquer”. (3) If he now wishes to withdraw his sworn testimony before the Committee in which he claimed that he never had a conversation with respect to his actions in Wisconsin and using them to punish members of the opposition party and their donor base. Rep. Cummings continued: "In the interview with your local Fox affiliate, you stated that “the facts are the facts.” We agree, and in this instance, the facts were captured on videotape. Did Scott Walker lie under oath? Wisconsin voters would like to know.31,044 of 35,000 SignaturesCreated by Mary Magnuson

Federally Funded ElectionsLet's get the money out of politics. It's no doubt that our entire political system has been corrupted by the vast sums of money flowing through every campaign. It's time to stop it! Our politicians obviously pander to their special interest groups and vote on issues, not for the benefit of the country, but rather to "keep the cash rolling in". Let's create a system where anyone can donate any amount they choose, but the money doesn't go to fund a specific campaign, but rather into a pool where every campaign will receive the same amount for the same position. Another words, the Presidential camaign, which this time around will probably surpass two billion dollars being spent, each candidate will receive the same amount to fund their campaign. No outside donors, no emails trying to raise cash, no fund raisers, no dinners. Just the money provided by this pool. Maybe in this way, our politicians will care more about their constituents and less about their donors. Maybe we will even get something accomplished in congress.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Barry Hare

Government Officials: They Get Paid What We Get PaidThe United States of America is a Democracy, and the people we vote for represent US. If they would truly like to represent the people, then they should, at most, receive a salary that averages what people in their districts earn. It would cut costs and reduce debt.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Michael Kirtley

Congress Shall Not Receive A Salary Greater Than Any Service Memeber!Congress gets away with murder and a great pay check for it. While they murder our ecomony and don't do the job of the people they keep our troops begging for medicine, equipment and insurance for family and self. All congressional members should have no better than the people they represent and our troops in harms way. We are their employers, they are not ours.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lori A. Biskner

Publically Funded ElectionsUnfair campaign contributions have created a shift away from The People's Government to The Corporation's Government. This kind of spending on campaigns is obsolete. We must not allow money to corrupt members of Congress. All members must spend the same amount on their campaigns. Only then will we have a level playing field.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Greg Cosmo

Law to subsidize equal time for rebuttalMega money in U.S. politics is drowning out the voices of those who can't afford to compete on the same monetary level, so inevitably the message funded by rich is the only message that gets heard. We're proposing a law that would require anyone who bought time to air a political attack ad in markets with limited access, i.e. TV networks & local stations (cable or broadcast), radio stations, or paid to publish a political ad in a newspaper or magazine, would be required to pay for equal time in the same media for a rebuttal to that political attack ad, answered by the individual or party the ad attacks. This would not be a limit to free speech, this would be a balanced expansion of free speech to allow both sides to be heard.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lawrence Menasco, Jr.

Straight Talk About Election IssuesThe candidates are not debating the authentic long term issues which will influence the opportunities and life quality of every American family: U.S. worldwide economic competition, nuclear proliferation, pollution, education and foreign relations. Our foreign relations are decaying, our educational competitiveness is declining, air and water quality are under attack and absolute crazy men are getting control of weapons that could snuff out all human, animal and plant life on earth.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Aves
