  • United States Government Elected Official Recall Law
Whereas the voters of United States have politicians that routinely pass legislation and take executive privilege beyond the voter's expressed desires, we demand the right to recall politicians (both legislative and executive) who fail to meet the electorate's mandates. We further demand that both the United States Constitution amended to include the right of recall, and such right shall not be more stringently restricted than it is in other US States or US Cities that currently recognize the right in their respective bodies of law.

  • No Nepotism in Chicago's 49th Ward
If you believe that government officials should earn their right to represent you through the standard electoral process, and should not be allowed the opportunity to slide into their positions through family connections (AKA nepotism), you'll want to sign this petition, which will be sent to Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

  • Stop corporate funded elections
I would like to discuss funding for the political campaigning system and how it needs to be revamped to a single pool of donations divided equally among candidates. No more pacs or super pacs supporting a single candidate. No more private and corporate funding for any individual candidate. I would like to see evenly funded campaigns, to create a level playing field for all candidates. No more dunce politicians soaking the political system while tarnishing our global image. Only genuine intelligent people that would be subjected to tests for competence and polygraphed to determine their intentions. Also to eliminate the 2 party system . No more Republicans or Democrats, no more Liberal or Conservative labels, just "American Politician". No more voting based on party decision just voting based on personal views. I'm not saying tea party either. I'm saying stop fighting with our selves and start doing whats right for the country and not whats best for your corporate sponsors or political gain.

  • Amend the Constitution on Presidential Elections
Currently the US Constitution requires the President to be voted on by the Electoral College not by popular vote as with every other Federal level position. This petition would urge the congress to inact a Constitutional amendment to change presidential election to be by popular vote.

  • Electoral College Repeal
There is no need for the Electoral College anymore. With the age of electronics, this an outdated program and should be put aside. As we review the Electoral College, it was unintended for the old western states, because of the distant to for the settlers to vote and to have their votes counted. Let's be a true democracy, "One man, One vote." Let's repeal this action, cause now the Electoral College, an be use for misuse.

  • Stop Congress from insider trading!
Members of congress are able to make large profits in the stock market. The average american would get prison time, the members of congress get rich. Not to mention the possible security issues that may come up, because a congress person is thinking about their interest, not the interests of the U.S.A.
