Hospitals intentionally billed patients incorrectlyI have been billed to pay a copay for a preventive care procedure. According to my insurance contract, all preventive care is 100% covered. Had I not checked my medical bills, I would have paid on a bill that did not warrant a copay. Because it has happened to me on numerous occasion I believe this is a common practice for some major hospitals.. I think of others who might not be aware of their medical insurance contract, such as the elderly or others who might be ignorant of all of their medical benefits...1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tanjay B. Reduce the cost of ObamacareOur government is looking to find major areas for reducing expenditures. Our percapita healthcare costs are more than twice the cost of the currently most expensive country yet we don't enjoy better health. We all know Obamacare was written by industry lobbyists that sought to maintain the income of Insurance companies, doctors, insurance companies, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, etc.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Hector Madrid

Medical cost is the problem not MedicareWE spend 18% of our GDP (gross domestic product) on medical costs. They rest of the world spends between 6 and 8% of their GDP. We have the most inefficient expensive medical system in the world, and we cannot afford this system brought to us by the free market, We cannot compete with other countries who add 6 to 8% of GDP to product cost when we have to add 18% of our GDP to our product Cost. Medicare is not the problem outrageous medical costs are!!!!!!3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Richard D Toenjes

How a person with aspergers/autism has been mistreated in the community.I am a single mother who is raising a son who has aspergers and autism spectrum. I am a parent who wants to work while he is in school. I cannot find any employment with flexible hours. My child who wants to be in an intergrated classroom setting, but couldn't. No one in the schools, churches, family, or public services are willing to work with him. Many parents and I are feeling discriminated. There are some situations that can be overwhelming for a single parent or two parent families. We are asking people in the community to get help our children and to save our children. Those people have been ignored. That's exactly what happened to the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. I think about my son so much. I believe in the old saying, "It takes a village to raise a child". People are ignore that stategy. Just like what our former president, George W. Bush stated, "No child left behind".11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Melinda D. Davis

Absolve the Medical Debt of the Late Mrs. Annie R. WilsonMrs. Annie R. Wilson was an impoverished domestic worker who did not have health insurance. In November, 2004, she suffered a massive heart attack. While recovering at the Medical University of South Carolina, she fell from her bed in the intensive care unit. The fall resulted in her lapsing into a coma from which she never recovered. She passed away on December 29, 2004. Now, her creditors want to sell her small estate to pay off medical debt. However, her estate was worth only a tiny fraction of the medical debt that she owed. Her family believes that her estate should not be sold to pay the debt because she fell from her bed in the ICU. Had she not fallen from her bed, she may still be alive today.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by JusticeforAnnie

Petition title Restrict wifi for health and the handicappedPersons who have become ill from wireless radiation from cell phones, smart meters and other wireless devices cannot enter libraries or medical facilities without getting ill. Some even suffer life threatening conditions. Wifi is being banned in many schools and libraires etc in Europe due to scientific research showing that children, the ill, pregnant women & over exposed men are particularly at risk. Studies done by cell phone companies are not unbiased.106 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Jennire Wood

Any willing ProviderA petition to allow any willing mental health provider who has been independently licensed by a state agency and who has two years of proven mental health experience be considered and independent mental health practitioner for purposes of working for the Military Mental Health Agencies and The Veterans Health Administration. People should be concerned because too many mental health practitioners who are capable and able are being excluded from providing needed services to veterans.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dr Roxanne Lewis

Legislation needed to make health insurance companies disclose their denial ratesThere is no legislation on the books for any state except California or federal that requires health insurance companies to disclose their denial rates. Thirty percent of all health claims submitted in California are denied, imagine the nationwide ramifications. I deal with this every day in my business and make the health insurance companies pay the way they should not the way they want to.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lea Fowler

Dental CareLack of dental insurance is a huge problem in America. It has led to the detriment of our teeth. Why should this be? I cannot afford to go to the dentist. I am not alone. Dental health should be part of medical insurance plans. If we don't have healthy teeth and gums, we will not have healthy bodies.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mary Wahle
