Medical benefits for Part Time WorkersI think this is a very important issue, because of the economy, and what has become the new world we live in. I feel there should be some type of law guarantees medical benefits for part time workers. My son has been employed at Giant Supermarket for five years, listed as part time, but scheduled work hours are full time, yet he has no medical coverage. There should be some compensations for employees. that have no choice but to accept this type of employment due to the lack of full time work. Without the risk of being terminated because they deserve medical coverage. Thank You1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Donna Mackey

Eating Disorders Treatment In New York's Capital RegionThe miniscule amout of Eating Disorders treatment was recently cut from the state budget. It is true that there is outpatient, individual therapy, but higher levels of care are desperatly needed, especially since insurance companies, like CDPHP have little treatment facilities in their network.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jennifer Werner

Protect our childrenPlastic wraps and containers leach harmful and unproven chemicals into food, beverages, and cosmetics. Current research is uncovering dangerous genetic and health effects from such chemicals No plastic that emits chemicals should be allowed to contact products that go into or on our bodies.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dan who cares

Don't Put Pharmaseutical Profits Before My HealthThe people are being exploited by drug makers, drug marketers, drug sellers, the CDC, and law enforcement. Things need to change, and the power must shift away from these bullying tactics that are being employed. Corporate profits are draining our communities of stability, and any hopes of longevity.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Andrew Tirado

Pay the PeopleMost medicine on the market is found though basic research and then developed to a certain level with part or all of public, tax payer funding in colleges and universities. Currently, when the final product is released no percent of the profit comes back to the people of the US that funded the research. Let's get a percent of the profit returned to the People.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert Ayotte

Medicare solutionsPractical solutions for solving medicare insolvency. People should sign it to help preserve medicare for generations to come. My ideas come from my personal history of being a retired registered nurse and a clear understanding of patient care. I have sent my ideas to Senator Patty Murray on 2 different occasions, and received a form letter back each time. I don't think she ever read it. I want our politicians to stop bickering and solve our countries problems.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Patty Clark

Tell Lawmakers to Pass a Law Making Cures Available to the Public.A thousand people die everyday in the US waiting for an Organ. Yet a cure exists, and has existed since at least 2006 and is being kept from the people who need it most; these deaths ruin lives, tear families apart, bankrupt our middle and lower classes and significantly increase spending out of our programs like Social Security and Medicare. All of which is unnecessary.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kevin Scholer

Step Therapy FAILS Us!Take a New York minute and make your NY voices heard on an important health care issue that impacts our ability to receive the most suitable treatments. Let your NYS Legislators know that Step Therapy/First Fail protocol delays patient access to medications, creates more obstacles for patients and physicians to overcome, denies continuity of care, and FAILS all of us.847 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Kathleen Arntsen
