Hailey Owens, Springfield, MO., was Kidnapped and found dead in less then 3 hours. We the people should remember so such horrific crimes may never happen again.

Because too many deaths have occurred in the past three to five years that have gone either unsolved or have supposedly been solved with "questionable" outcomes.

Too many of our youth are dying behind the ridiculous law that contradicts the main reason to protect yourself, this law gives people the right to put the law in their own hands and chase innocent people down and kill them for no reason. The law states stand your ground not hunt your prey.

A white man killed an unarmed Black teenager — Jordan Davis — and Florida's so-called "Stand Your Ground" or "Shoot First" law set the stage for the injustice we've just witnessed — enabling Michael Dunn to kill Jordan Davis and not fully answer for that crime. It's a gripping comparison and a terrifying continuation of the injustice we saw with Trayvon Martin — with both murders taking place in Florida just months apart. In this time of national sorrow, let us turn our rightful frustration into action and grow a movement to hold accountable the criminal justice system that fails Black Americans every day.

EVERY YEAR 58,000 CHILDREN ARE SENT FOR CUSTODY OR UNPROTECTED VISITATION WITH A DANGEROUS ABUSER. EVERY COUNTY IN EVERY STATE HARBORS DANGEROUS JUDGES. NO CHILD IS SAFE. In addition, in 2013 the Center for Disease Control concluded a lengthy investigation into adverse childhood experiences. The ACE study is one of the largest medical investigations ever conducted to assess associations between childhood maltreatment and later-life health and well-being. They found that a child’s exposure to certain trauma’s, including domestic violence or child sexual abuse, resulted in more illnesses and injuries to children in childhood through adulthood (i.e., social emotional and cognitive impairment; adoption of health-risk behaviors; disease, disability and social problems; and premature death). This study demonstrates how a child’s exposure to domestic or sexual abuse is a PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE. Yet every year, an estimated 58,000 children are sent for custody or unprotected visitation with a reported abuser. So how is this happening? Although research confirms that deliberately false allegations by mothers in child sexual abuse cases occurs less than 2% of the time, 85% of these cases results in custody to the alleged abuser—which means our courts are sending children to live with their rapist. Inadequately trained professionals tend to believe the myth that mothers frequently make false allegations. Therefore, in thinking they have the needed expertise, they don't listen to domestic violence or child abuse evidence, experts, or consider current research. Mothers are then forced into poverty trying to protect their children-- while, their children continue to be abused. Mr. Governor, House and Senate Representatives, CANDIDATES FOR GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA, we now have the medical research to declare domestic violence and child abuse a PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE. And the U.S. Department of Justice's Saunders report states that the STANDARD and REQUIRED domestic violence training received by judges, lawyers, and evaluators does not adequately prepare them to handle abuse cases. A conversation was started about Mr. Tyrone Copeland. A teacher, graduate of Sprayberry High School class of 1968 and Kennesaw State College and graduated from West Georgia University. This was the story that got not only a huge amount of attention, but made many cry. He died just a few short years after his teaching license was revoked. Please read this and you'll understand. I have SO many of his other students who will back me up on this. The following is an ongoing post on Facebook. People who knew him are outraged. I'd like to be able to give his Mother the peace of mind of knowing her son's legacy was preserved properly and for his children to know their Father was a TEACHER. Alright. Here is what happened. I haven't published this on any wall, but I do have proof of what I'm about to say. When Elizabeth closed, Mr. Copeland went to another school to teach in a well to do area. We all know his unorthodox teaching methods. They're the only reason I know my times tables to this day. I had Fetal Alcohol syndrome when I was born. I had a tough time of it for quite a while especially school. I had all these little white ladies for teachers then the 4th grade came. MR??? Then I SAW him! He looked HUGE to me then. I was totally convinced he was going to eat me lol. He was standing outside his classroom door with his chin up and hands folded like always and noticed I looked freaked out. He called me over, smiled at me and asked my name. He said Oh, you're in my class! Welcome Ms. Gilleland! Please take a seat. Whew! He took notice of my learning disability. He realized I was good with words and I could read like a mug. So he took me to the advanced reading class across the hall and asked that I be given a chance to try. The teacher there knew I'd been in special ed and thought what a mean thing to do to her! But Mr. Copeland insisted. My self esteem was squat and I was scared. But I rocked that class! I came in third in a speed reading contest and I'm now a published Author. I wanted to tell him what a difference he'd made in my life so I went to find him. I found what Skip found. And I cried. Then I found something that made me MAD. Turns out the community he worked in after Elizabeth didn't like his "unorthodox teaching methods" and after snobby parental complaints, they put him in front of the Cobb County board of Education and after he plead to them to keep his job, they gave in to the equivalent of peer pressure from the parents and not only fired him, but stripped him of his teaching license for good. He went into construction and died just a few years later. Of an "enlarged heart." Broken, I say. They took all that mattered to him away and we all know what a fabulous teacher he was. Since then, I've started working on getting his teaching license posthumously re-instated. I've had SO many people of all colors and backgrounds write to me and tell me "How Mr. Copeland helped me not be a failure even if I wanted to" stories. I'll share one. There were many. He heard one of his student's sister was very ill and at Children's hospital in Atlanta. He promised the student he'd come visit the sister that weekend. The day he was supposed to go, it rained like crazy all day and all he had was a motorcycle. The little girl had heard all about him and wanted to meet him but they figured and understood he just couldn't get there in that weather with no car. That afternoon, Mr. Copeland showed up at the hospital just when he said he would and had driven on his motorcycle all the way from Marietta. He put dry clothes in a bag for when he got there and apologized for his hair being wet. That's just one. I want his teaching license re-instated for us, the children he made such a difference for. For his family. For his children. And mostly to right a really big time wrong in my book. I was nowhere near close to the only person he made such an impact on. The stories are incredible and endless. If anyone has read this far and wants to sign a petition to help me get this license back, please let me know. I plan to take a copy to his mother if she lives long enough and to his children to let them know their father was a teacher and a damned good one. And a fine man. Then I'm going to have it weather sealed and put it on his grave. It's the least I can do. Sorry this was so long. If anyone wants to see proof of what I've said, I have it. And multiple amazing stories from students to back it up as well. A petition with the stories attached would go a long way. Right now I'm fighting alone. Tom Petri [R-WI] successfully advocated in Congress and with Pentagon officials for the economic interests of a Pentagon contractor, Oshkosh Corp., in which Petri owns hundreds of thousands of dollars of stock. [1] After he bought the stock, Petri pressed fellow Members of Congress and Pentagon officials to help the company retain a $3 billion contract and escape Pentagon cuts. Meanwhile, the value of Petri's stock increased between $75,000 and $213,000. (Representatives are only required to report these numbers in ranges.) House Ethics rules prohibit members from using their official position for personal gain. Public Citizen has called on the Office of Congressional Ethics to investigate. [2] We know that it's difficult to cut the Pentagon budget because of the huge campaign contributions Members of Congress receive from Pentagon contractors. But this case is much more extreme. “This is not just benefiting a major campaign contributor, this is going into his own pocket,” said Craig Holman, senior legislative director for Public Citizen. A mainstream media report that has not been contradicted is sufficient evidence to justify a preliminary investigation. Urge the Office of Congressional Ethics and Members of the House Ethics Committee to begin investigating Rep. Petri's Pentagon contractor conflict of interest. To many young black men are being murdered and their perpetrators are walking away. This is Trayvon Martin all over again! Only afterward did the world see that Zimmerman should have been convicted. Don't let another child murderer walk away. Michael Dunn provoked the incident by getting out of his car and approaching the teens. His court testimony has been inconsistent, he never called 911 instead he drove 2 hours away. While the teenager Jordan Davis lay dying from 3 bullet wounds including one in his back. While sitting in his Dodge Durango.

We can no longer let the senseless murder of our young people go unpunished. Michael Dunn was not convicted for killing Jordan Davis after confronting him over loud music at a convenience store. Dunn fired his weapon 10 times; 3 shots were lodged into Davis' body. Dunn is claiming "self-defense." Following the murder, Dunn fled the scene with his girlfriend, stayed at a hotel and ordered pizza. They did not call 911. Police had to apprehend Dunn at his home 130 miles away. Jordan Davis had no criminal record. He was unarmed at the time of his murder. Dunn was convicted of 3 counts of attempted murder, and 1 count of firing into a vehicle. He was not convicted of first degree murder. In 2014, this is unacceptable. Please sign this petition and stand in solidarity with Jordan Davis and his family.

My petition is about protecting human rights, and forcing my country to take responsibility for it actions. When NATO was bombarding Libya to help further the agenda of their Libyan allies (rebels), these rebels were busy killing black people (Black Libyan, African migrant workers)
