I recently read an article about Texas inmate, Jerry Hartfield who has been imprisoned for over 32 years. After the State of Texas Appeals Court overturned his murder conviction and ordered to be given a new trial he still sits in jail. It's been 32 years and he is still waiting for his new trial. This story of Jerry Hatfield has haunted me, as it should you. Demand that he receive the new trial that he deserves!!

His openly stated goals and actions have and continue to show his behavior as treasonous. In his tenure, he has fought ANY bill that would restrict of reduce the number of jobs shipped to China including the continuance of tax breaks for outsourcing these jobs and all to his own benefit. His father-in-law is the multi-billionaire Chinese Industrialist, James Chao. During this time Mitch McConnell's net worth went from $4 million dollars four years ago to over $25 million dollars today. All from purposefully hurting the American economy to benefit his Chinese father-in-law's businesses and industries. That is treason.

The recent gun violence that killed six year old Aliyah Shell in Little Village and 7 year old Heaven Sutton on the Westside as well as the massacres in the Aurora, Colorado movie theater and against the Sikh Community in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, and the tragedy at Sandy Hook elementary demonstrates that we must stop the senseless killings by fire arms, and have better control over the firearms that enter our communities.

Assault Weapons Ban. There is not a person in the world who hasn't been affected by this in one way or another. Stop this nonsense and let's use common sense.

We need to help STOP so much senseless killing. Our gun laws need to be strengthened by new tougher restrictions (which, by the way, DO NOT IMPINGE ON OUR 2nd amendment rights).

We condemn the execution of Rizana Nafeek in Saudi Arabia (1/9/13) and call for the U.S. to cancel its weapons sales to that kingdom. The gruesome beheading of Rizana Nafeek, carried out by Saudi Arabian authorities, must mark the end of tolerance for the Saudi regime. This kingdom executes people for witchcraft and blasphemy, and lashes women who dare to drive cars. It does not allow the existence of labor unions, but does permit old men to marry children. Political rights are non-existent and demonstrations are put down violently. The regime is a notorious sanctuary for tyrants from Idi Amin of Urganda to Zine Ben Ali of Tunisia. Rizana Nafeek, a young woman from Sri Lanka, worked as a domestic. She was found guilty of murdering a baby in her care when she was 17 years old.. Nafeek confessed to the killing, but Human Rights Watch says she made her confession under duress. In a 1/8/2013 statement the group said "Nafeek had no access to legal counsel until after a court in Dawadmi sentenced her to death by beheading in 2007." International law forbids execution of people for crimes committed when they were under 18, but Saudi Arabia ignored the provision. As of January 2013, the Guardian(UK) reports 45 foreign maids are on death row in Saudi Arabia. Besides its terrible human rights record, the kingdom gave millions to the Taliban. It took part last year in the suppression of the democratic movement in Bahrain. It is sending weapons into Syria to arm sectarian forces that attack all who do not agree with their extreme version of religion. The Saudi government has offered to collaborate with Israel and allow it to use Saudi airspace on its way to attack Iran. Enough is enough. The government of Saudi Arabia should be regarded as an international pariah. The $60 billion dollar U.S.-Saudi arms deal must be cancelled.

There is a White House web site for the public to write Petitions and gather signatures. Once a petition has 25,000 signatures it will be addressed publicly by the White House.The gun nuts are using it profusely and networking NRA members, etc., to keep any gun control from happening. This is where Alex Jones started a Petition to deport Piers Morgan because he's been having forums on gun control and believes assault weapons should be banned. When Alex was on the CNN show, he acted insane -- yelling and gesturing and threatening Piers and calling for armed revolution. The thought of him with any firearms is scary. Anyway, his fans signed by the thousands and have another Petition to charge Sen. Diane Feinstein with Treason for proposing an Assault Weapons ban. They have many Petitions on the site to go after anyone who supports any gun control and of course, the usual threats to the President. Aaron Sandusky was personally targeted by the DEA for legally dispensing marijuana in accordance with California law. More states have, and will, legalize the growing, sale, and distribution of marijuana. American citizens should not have the fear of federal prosecution while they are within their rights in their respective states. A clear message needs to be sent by the President that pursuing individuals under an outdated federal law will not be tolerated.
